Tonight’s offering….
Clutch Knuckleduster, 41", 9ply, wht Formica bottom.
Had a small amount of tear-out from drilling with a dull bit… both front & back…
I filled the tearout with resin and faring compound so it will be stronger than it was with just the wood. Second & third pics show blown up front & rear tear-out damage & repair. Otherwise a mint deck…

Tonight’s board is a bit out there… Did a series of wicker topper surf cruisers and this is one of the last two… I like having them around the shop as conversation pieces so, I’m gonna keep one and let this one go. It’s a rockered 48” cruiser with a 32.5” WB.. Red Formica bottom. With internal glass sandwich. the wicker is stretched & epoxied in place over silver texalium and then given a mild clear grip…
The “catch” is with these that the hardware is permanently mounted & epoxied in place under the texalium… the idea is to mount a set of revenge trucks (or other surfy type) and leave them there… It’s a Sunday driver but can withstand a lot of use, a friend has been riding one fairly regularly for over a year. I can supply & mount some Revenge Alpha 2 trucks if needed. Good for a rider to about 215lbs.

Ok… Green leopard mutant-knucky blem is gone (again!)

9 plys of maple pressed into a new flat bottom tapering lunch-tray concave similar to the Knuckleduster & blackbird… straight & stiff for DH & aggressive free riding
41.375” long
10.2” wide at the widest part tapering to 9” wide at the back
31.75 Wheelbase
Camel toe stain & pinstripe pattern. Aircraft clearcoat.



Cool features:
-Drop thru cuts to allow for randal 42’s as well as 50’s, 6-hole Paris, & Bears… wine center of cut out allows for some low profile trucks to avoid hangar bite (42’s work)
-Cut-outs for rear instep allowing for extra leverage for standing slides & power carves, enhanced reference point and lock in… unique sensation of control

Saw my first Airotica and my first and second Clutches today. They look great and people (Max) were ripping on them. Some kid did the Central Park Race on one of those 55" double-kicked decks. Thing was freakin' huge.
