Inferno Boards is a new longboard company that was created with 1 cup of passion for longboarding, a teaspoon of household power tools, and a pinch of inspiration, just for that extra little flavor. During countless days in the garage each summer, prototypes have been tested, refined, tossed around, yelled at, hugged, fed twice daily with all natural supplements, and stolen by the evil monkey in my closet. But aside from all of that, this little garage company has definitely put smiles on the faces of its first customers.
Ever ask yourself, 'What does it feel like to be dreaming and riding a longboard at the same time?'. We sure did, and the answer was in our longboards! They are FDA approved to: increase heart rate, induce excessive salivation, and in most cases, cause major stokage.
We actually now have a website! The URL is: Inferno Boards Although the site is currently under construction, I can still make any of the 3 boards you see on the home page (or a completely custom one, too!).
All of the decks are handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail and a generous amount of T.L.C. (natural supplements which I feed them are going to cost you extra haha) by me, Dante', the lead shaper and designer. Since each board is handmade to order, the turnaround time will likely be around two weeks.
If you are interested in any of the boards on the website, you can email me at infernolongboards@gmail.com or call me at (85 692-4559, and I will let you know of all the specs on each board. Soon, though, all of this information will be available on the website, but please give me some time to build it!
Cool boards, one of them is an FSM though, all good to be inspired by something but come on. Really dig the middle one though, maybe a tad more foot space could be squeezed in?
Hey yeah, I know the middle one is the FSM shape, but I wanted to see what I could do with a mirrored shape that could be ridden both ways . More for the graphic's sake than anything. I'll change it though, so Comet doesn't get mad at me, but sorry about that haha. There is actually 10" of foot space at the widest point on the Substance board. Customizing it to your size is always an option too, as it can scale any way you want it. Were you interested in it?
Those are really sick boards. I like the drop-thru one. How much is it?

Rouleau, the links are dead as of this moment but I am working on this every day in order to get it fully up and running ASAP. It's not your iPhone haha. And the specs are as follows:
Existence= 9ply Concave/Camber 42"x10"
Substance= 9ply Concave Drop (with ends angled at about 20 degrees) 36"x9"
Resistance= 9ply Concave/Camber (or 12ply w/o camber for speedboarding version) 40"x10"
and Chris, which drop thru are you talking about?
Thanks for showing interest guys, if you want to get your hands on one of these babies, then you can contact me via email or phone, both are in my original post!
Please have some patience with the site, it will be up as fast as I can work on it.
Rouleau, pics of the setups will come as the boards are made. Currently, the first Existence is being made as we speak. It should take me less than a week to finish it, and the other boards will be made shortly thereafter. Then some nice pics are going to be on their way
Gabriel, look again, man. It's not the FSM. Similar, yes, but not the FSM. I respect Comet as well as other companies, too. But then again, who says that a pintail (for example) is one company's own design. Almost all companies make some form of a pintail which basically resembles the other company's (and only the graphics are unique). I'm not going to copy directly off of everyone else's designs, but if there is something I like about a general shape, I will tweak it until it is my own.
If the resistence is the FSM then the FSM=Nola Freeride boad=Dropthrough Vanguard=Hairpin.
Sexy curves do not mean they're the same thing.
nola freeride, vanny, and the hairpin all have wayyy more different designs and details that make them twice more distinctly different. resistance maybe a bit more tweaking but great work btw

generally speaking, how much do these boards run as for pricing? just a general sort of thing.
I'm a bit confused; are the graphics on the boards on the homepage the actual graphics, or is that just to make it look cool?

Ok, lots of stuff to respond to here, so let me take my time.
Here goes:
Rouleau, want to be my first team rider? I don't have any reps yet, but I'm looking around. First priority for me is to get my first set of boards out there and then get pics, then really go from there. And hell yes, I need to make a drop deck. I'll work on some designs, but mostly the boards are all custom, so we'll see if the demand is there for more than just one to be made!
B-$, thanks for the added clarification...I hope others understand.
Gabriel, thanks. All feedback is appreciated.
Lufywaffles, I'm still working on the true pricing. It's going to be available soon.
-AND SO EVERYONE ELSE KNOWS- All graphics on the boards BEFORE you mouseover are the underside graphics. On mouseover, the top graphics are displayed. But anything that is black is griptape, and anything colored is a cutout in the griptape and a colored section on the deck itself. Make sense? And I can pretty much do ANY graphic you want on the boards. They are all custom! The ones I show on the page are just a little taste of the flavor of the board. Personally, I thought they all tasted kinda woody, but that's just me haha.
And thanks to all for the immediate and awesome feedback. Please keep the comments rollin'. Pun intended.
Oh! One more thing! I just setup a real email for myself, and not the cheap gmail one. So, the new email is dante@infernoboards.com . I'm Dante' by the way.
I updated the site a few hours ago, and now you can read about my bio, my contact info, and see a few boards I have made for customers before the website was up. The gallery section will continue to grow as I make the time to add more photos of previous boards.
you oughta have a sponsorship contest or something similar to how ghoti is going about it. it could help you choose reps and gets people stoked and out filming/making great videos
There is actually 10" of foot space at the widest point on the Substance board.
Didn't mean width (10" is great), just that the cutouts are huge and maybe you could get more wood closer to the front truck for better leverage, and still avoid wheel bite. Any chance of some photos of the boards? And how're you doing the graphics? Just curious, I'm broke at the moment.
Edit: Saw the photos on your site, looking good, especially the tatoo

Did you check out the gallery section at infernoboards.com? He's got a few there and they look sick!
Not 100% sure but those cutouts look huge so you can run any sized wheel you'd like. (I like my wheels huge...) and also since the nose/tail are both wedged so much, even with less leverage over the trucks (due to the huge cutouts) it will still turn on a dime
