I paid my deposit on 10/29, and used PayPal. That was for five decks. I believe I'm now past the window of opportunity to file a complaint. Frankly, I've already written it off as a loss.
Call your CC company, they will be more than happy to dive into his bank account
^^^^ he obviously spelled it wrong... you may know it as a metre.. its a common mistake. such as colour, honour, favourite... etc. its not your fault guys, we just often forget how special you guys really are
Don't forget organise, recognise, etc. I also recently learned that that applies to travelling (UK), as opposed to traveling (USA).
I live in the city and have traveled to Forest Park to pick up decks from Julian, but I dont know where he lives and wouldnt feel comfortable going to his home anyway. What I dont get is why Julian would pick one random person to tell he is alright and not everyone at once.

Mark brought up a good point. Those of you who have pending orders...I'd suggest you file complaints and get your CC companies, paypal, banks etc to get you your money back. Maybe Julian will wake the hell up when he realizes a few $1000 got yanked from his account.
I've got nothing against Julian either. I love his products and I've always had good interactions with him. This is ridiculous though. If he does not want to give everyone the courtesy of letting people know where he is, I'd suggest people start filing complaints and yanking money from his account.
What Julian's doing is rude, inconsiderate, and down right illegal. He's taken hundreds of dollars from customers and then dissapeared and is making a point of avoiding everyone. Get your money back while you still can.
Maybe he'll come back and we'll get an explanation and CLB will dig itself out of the hole. But at this point, I'm thinking it might be a good idea to consider CLB to be gone for good.

Hopefully hes gone into the mountains of china and is learning the ancient craft of building with bamboo from the natives and pandas. Then, the delay in his return is his reluctance to leave the pandas, and turbulence in the atmosphere.
I have always wanted one of his decks, but will definately not consider doing business with him now. Even a tragedy would have been slim justification for his complete disregard for the community that has treated him so well. This is total disrespect.
