Actually Rogdon, I might trade you this project for a logo. I have a prelim, but i need it prettied up. I am going to start producing some LDP decks that I have wanted to build for a while now. Here is the prelim for you to get an idea:
id rather pay for this one and have you send me a deck when you make them for the logo ^_^ ( ive been addicted to LDPing for about 6 months and it would be awesome to have one done by ya! it would go in my car in the rack wherever i went hehehe), but anyways just pm me with your ideas so we dont get off topic here and i can guarantee youll be more than stoked with the logo we come up for ya, ^_^
Sounds cool and thanks for keeping me on topic. I just need to get in front of that trunk for 5 minutes to figure it out. Ok, I have a Dervish, a Roe Mermaid, and a popsicle to simulate your in trunk quiver. Does that about get it?

id rather just have space for two... so the mermaid and the dervish. forget about the popsicle, i never could ride a shortboard for the life of me. ^_^
id love to see what you come up with in the LDP department, i think just looking at the cutup dervish that you have some real talent there.
i'll have to post some pics of the rack after i finish w/ it. i'm mounting it on the wall technically, but its sittin on the floor. usin a l bracket on each side to keep it from tippin over. staining and painting as right now, will be pretty nice.

I did cabinetry and finishing work with a plethora of materials professionally. Paint work, fibergalss work, etc. All skills applicable to deck building. I have done bent laminate furniture, some light marketry, and more. Time to put those skills to work and build a really good press. I want to concentrate on a single LDP deck for the first couple of months and really put out something repeatable and respected.
Thanks for the compliment though on the crazy reshape. Its going to take me some time to get to my friends trunk, so hang tight. He is racing it in AL this weekend. He works for Advan/Yokohama, my tire guy.

no rush. really.
thanks! and hit me up with your logo ideas so we can work it out.
So I threw this together today and realized that if I made them in a production quality, they might be marketable. Would anyone be interested in one for 35 bucks plus shipping? Just trying to see if anyone would want one. All hardware included for mounting to drywall. Not looking to spam anyone here, just judging demand and whether I should set up some templates for making these things.

I reported the spam invasion. Hopefully they will delete the "one post" account. And I appreciate such an accomplished builder snooping my thread by the way.

Apparently the "spam invasion" is a real person. I called him on it and this is all he has to say

I have had a couple of folks store snowboards with no bindings on them. But I am not sure about wakeboards. The heavier the stuff you put on it, the better you would want it attached to the wall. I provide 4- 3" toggle bolts for drywall. But if you could mount it into a stud, it would probably carry it. I keep 5 setup boards in mine averaging 5-7 lbs each I guess. So 25 to 35 lbs as designed maybe? It is made from 1/2" finished ply with 3/4" solid pine braces. I can build customs that will carry more if needed, but the prices change based on design.
If it is assembled with glue like suggested and mounted to a stud instead of toggles, I could see it carrying 40-50 lbs total load conservatively.
Camel hooked me up with one of these sweet beauties recently - I'll be hanging it this weekend, but I had to get it loaded up for a quiver shot in the interim:
