Right on man. Board testers are always in need. We'll see.
I've admired Loki's boards since he started building but you won't be seeing much metal flake or super nice mirror finish from coming from me. Carbon and glass maybe but really just the essentials.
sounds great. On the subject of testers. Send some your protos my way, and I'll make sure they get circulated through the longboarding community we've got here in the bay area. I can get you feedback from multiple perspectives with out any problem.
p.s. I'd love to test any speed board you're planning on throwing out there. personal recommendation (mainly because I'd love to ride something like this): flushcut topmount with flatcave. 10" wide in front, 9" in back.

on the 40" mesa i ordered, how low (inches) is the drop? Is it similar to the 45 inch?

my input for possible speedboard.
10 inches front, 9.5 middle 10 back.
possibly double dropped, or maybe just top dropped.
double drop = no wedging
top, dropped = front wedging 10-15* no back wedging.
