so i set it up and everything, and go to take it for a spin. Then, before you know it, i'm on the ground. Wheelbite on 62mm wheels.
I sent a couple more PMs.
You should be able to get away with 70mm, 4.3s and no risers or just 1/8 pads. Almost evry complete I send out I set up just like that and haven't heard about bite until now. Not sure whats up but shoot me those pics if you can. I'll make it right for you.

Nice! Is that with the extended wheel wells or without them?

That deck in the pic has the extended wells which have been standard for a while.
I really can't figure out the wheelbite issue with 62mm and 4.3s even with no risers. I run 70mm zigs and 4.3 Bennetts with no risers on a 30" mini all the time. Try to throw on some 1/8" soft pads and see what happens.
I think I figured it out...I was running super soft bottom bushings, and the turning radius was ridiculous. I popped some harder bushings in and tightened the trucks, and now it doesn't come close to biting.

loose trucks are awesome, but at least it's bite free.
he probably didnt tighten it too much, those bottom bushings can really get the wheelbite going if youre not careful. A little harder, and slightly tighter is all it needed probably, not much.

i need help choosing a mini size board. im 5'9-5'10 and about 145-150 pounds. should i get a 24', 26' or 28'.
when i have to make a decision such as yours (i'm not kidding), staple/tape a few pieces of paper together and mark off the available lengths. i then step and observe around what wb i'd feel comfortable with. (i did this before i bought my ks. i'm super anal).
if you feel you can handle shorter, go shorter. if you're more comfortable with a longer one, go longer. i'm 6'4" and 240lb planning for a 26", so weight and height, to my knowledge, doesn't really factor in.
but decide later. you wrote that like you're able to order one right now. =\

If you stick with the smaller companies (board builders...) Legendary, Arcane, LBL, you could buy 2 - 3 mini's and just swap out parts depending on your mood...At first this may sound silly, but seriously...Mini's built by these guys are fairly inexpensive...$30 to $50 bucks a pop...You could get a lil fin, a gnome and a humu for the price of one regular size\type deck...Hell, why not...?

Very true. I bought a gravity mini with some bennetts and 'gators. Pretty much ready to swap once arcane gets up and running again.
Also, I think you should use ABC order when listing "Legendary, Arcane, LBL".
