Jmasta, I"m groing increasingly frustrated with your lack of communication. I'm afraid that you've left me no choice but to come to this thread. You're able to provide updates to people that are thinking of buying but not to the people that have paid you. SHADY. Please send me a tracking number for my order or my money back.

I have to agree with mcgoon that this is SHADY. As you and i have a hard time believing that MudSlide would not treat their paying customers with the same 110%attention they give the hype of their product.
MJKam11, maybe if this order did include your money you would understand.
who knows what Jmasta is up to but this order is going to make alot of people very happy.
i hope Jmasta is healthy and is in good spirit working away in his workshop creating these awsome pucks for us to enjoy.
im concerned cause these are the gloves i want to get for the family and since this has come up im waiting to place mine.

Shady huh? Ok. Order was shipped on Friday... but money has been refunded, and package has been stopped.
Sometimes things come up. My mom fell down the stairs and was in the hospital. Add in my hard-drive crashing and the stress of college finals... and you've got some delays.
I'm just one man here. It took me awhile to put together an 11 person order. I had to remake all your gloves because of an issue with the velcro. Believe it or not, I actually have a life outside of making slide gloves in my kitchen. School is over for the semester so I have a lot more time to devote to this project.
I am not a machinist. I am not a professional businessman.... not even a business major. I don't have a full CNC shop. My products are not made in sweatshops by underpaid Chinese kids.
I am just a 21 year old, full-time college student who is addicted to sliding. The pucks I wanted did not exist, so I made them myself. Where else can you buy a pair of legit slide gloves for less than if you made them yourself?

he decided to offer these gloves because he enjoyed them so much, he decided to open them up to the public, so stop being asses and thank him for even selling them to the general public.
he DOESN'T have a giant factory with a conveyor belt and assembly line; he is one ####### person.
if any of you sliders out there have had loaded's gloves, im sure many, could you possibly give me a direct comparison. thanx
Yeah man, my buddy got some about 2 weeks befre I got my brown bombers with blacktops/greenhorns. Here's what I got to say.
Gloves: the loaded gloves are sick! Very ventelated and comfy. But theres so many different fabrics it's crazy. But 1/2 of them rip incredibly easy. Like on the back of the fingers and under the finger puck tear too easy IMO. Also the hardcore wrist strap is WAY unnescessary. Yeah woohoo it'll take you an hour to put your glves on but hey they won't fall off.... Not needed at all
The brown bombers are all the sAme fabric and it's INCREDIBLY tough (leather?) I've dragged them on the ground and scraped them up in the last few weeks and no rips or tears at all. It's amazing. And the pull string is perfect. Very usable and easy to take off/on. I wouldn't have it any other way
Pucks: loaded pucks are average. They feel really weird to me. It's not very smooth and makes a horible high pitched screech when your goingfast. Also the shapes are bad. The full finger bar sucks. Can't grab anything (including rail) I hate it. Also the palm puck is almost too rounded. Like a ball cut in half (IMO) and makes it too east for your hand-wrist to rotate and is harder to stay balanced on them.
The greenhorns and black tops are very very very smooth. I gave a black top palm and green fingers/thumb and it's perfect. The pucks are beveled soooooo nicely it makes every slide smooth as butter and they are super fast. Also since the fingers are 2 beveled circles it gives you much more mobility and makes it easier to grip things such as rail. I couldn't ask for a better puck.
Overall get mudslides over loaded.. I got the cheapest setup I could (minus a few minor things) and I like them 100times more than the 50$ loadeds.
thanx rouleou. it sounds to me like the loaded pucks are closest top the greenhorns? but better? and anyone want to say anything about the mechanix gloves? the brown bombers sound good but im looking for the more sleeker feel
Sounds sick! So you like the black palm/green finger combo? How does that feel? Does one part feel alot slicker than the rest?
Yeah. Originally jeff was having some issues with the greenhorns so he gave me the blacktop palm instead of the greens. But yes the blacks are quite a bit faster than the greens. I just put a palm down for corners now because it has 0 friction and hardly burns any speed at all. But the greens have a lot more control, if I put my weight more on my fingers I can definently feel myself slowing down more. I wouldn't say "stickier" but yes they are a bit slower and make it a lot easier to control what I'm doing IMO. I'm probably going to buy a green palm and black fingers sometime this summer so I'll have a legit review of both then.
Piano-stan. - I was trying to be nice up top but I personally hate the loaded pucks after using these. Not nearly as smooth or nice feeling. When I first tried the loadeds I thought they were the greatest things that ever happened. But that quickly changed.

hey rouleau, do you know the dombrowski family or a dombrowski at all?
if any of you sliders out there have had loaded's gloves, im sure many, could you possibly give me a direct comparison. thanx
I bought the Loaded gloves last year. I thought they would be an upgrade from my Gravity gloves... but boy was I wrong.
First off, I do like the shape of the palm pucks. My pucks are actually based off them. My GreenHorn pucks are made of the same material (UHMW) and slide just the same. Mine are 3.5" dia, while Loaded are something like 3.8" dia. Personally I found their's to be a bit too big, which is why I went with 3.5" on mine. Loaded's pucks and my Greens are pretty fast, but are nothing compared to the speed of Delrin (Blacktops)
Apart from that, I am not a fan of these gloves. I guess they have some kevlar on them, but you can literally feel every stitch inside the glove. I found them to be really uncomfortable. The Loaded gloves have a 1/4" pad on the palm; while this is a good idea, it is poorly implemented. It is not wide enough to cover your entire palm, and put an awkward strain on my wrists. You can take them out, but then that is just one more stitch that you feel. My Mechanix gloves have a padded palm; it is much more subtle and adds a good amount of comfort.
Like Rolueau said, the wrist strap on the Loaded's is just ridiculous. I was used to the Gravity ones and found the Loaded's to be excessive and quite simply annoying. They are much too bulky and are prone to being dragged on the ground. The velcro strap on the Mechanix gloves is much more discrete, and is smaller... so its much quicker to take them on and off. I take at least one glove off every run, so this is a big deal me.
As for the Loaded finger pucks....absolutely terrible. They are NOT made from UHMW, just dense plastic. These pucks will literally start to melt after long slides (you can even smell it!). Their finger bars are not beveled and are prone to catching on cracks. Also their shape makes it really hard to grab rail... or pick yer butt! Personally I feel that Loaded really skimped on this part of their glove.
I paid about $56 at a skate shop in CO for the Loaded gloves (probably cheaper online). I used the gloves once and hated them. I kept the pucks and promptly sold the gloves to my buddy. Comparatively, my Mechanix gloves with full GreenHorns are only $40. Not only do you get better finger pucks, but the gloves are much more comfortable. They are constructed of similar materials (well vented fingers, abrasion resistant knuckles)
Obviously you are going to think this review is biased, but I have hated the Loaded gloves long before I even thought about selling my own slide gloves. Do a quick search for the Loaded gloves, and you'll see that I said the same thing last year. I have tried to make this as honest as possible, and these are my actual opinions from actual experience.
