I have to wait until my new miter saw comes in to launch the site. Just ordered it last night. As some of you know, I've been having a helluva time machining the Green palms. The band saw blade always bends and pinches when I cut this material, resulting in a completely uneven and unacceptable puck (but the Blacks and Muds come out perfect!

) Probably has something to do with how much softer UHMW is than Delrin. I need to have a reliable way to get straight, accurate cuts before I get in over my head

hey bruv, you might wanna try a bit of a 'wet saw' approach to cutting the UHMW. It might help keep it from getting too soft/melting around the blade.

Wow! True customer service. I dont think I'll ever recorve a hand written letter from any company ever again. Sure jeff's got a lot on his hand.but he's a great guy! Thanks jeff!

Miter saw actually comes tomorrow..... unfortunately that is the least of my worries right now

My harddrive crashed (again....). Usually when this happens it will boot back up the next day... but it's been Saturday since it was working last. I really hope I can repair my harddrive.... or at least recover my data. I hope it is just the directory database that is corrupted and not my entire drive!

So basically, if this doesn't work.... I'm back to zero. I've got no backups

pray for my harddrive!

edit: So if this hardrive doesn't work, is it just the website you will lose or will you not be able to take any more orders?

Sucks dude. Backups are always a good thing, I'd recommend getting an external drive to back your important business stuff up if it does start to work again.

You can still place an order by email or PM. I can usually find a computer to use. I've got most of my order history backed up on google documents... I just don't have access to any else
