So what makes this board different than the 10000 other topmount speedboards with cut outs out there? For one, the layup is great. It's really stiff torsionally and from tip to tail. It looks like they opted for the T-3 concave on this, which I am really happy about. It's the same as last year's decks, but the formica makes for hella sharp rails and just a more defined feeling in general. I love how Madrid does their W: you know where your back foot is in big toeside sweepers, and it keeps your heel on for predrifts and slides on bad pavement and standers. I'm bad at concave shots so I took a couple.

So I normally hate on topmounts with cutouts because of the loss of leverage and likelihood for footbite, but this board is different than the most. For one, check out how close you can get to the front bolts:

Also, the platform is huge for a 30" wheelbase board with cut outs.

The CNC'd wheel wells are incredible too. This is full lean with 74mm wheels and no risers.

So in short, get one and get gnarly. If you have any more questions let me know.

If you put Solidz in those I bet you'd get static bite

You gotta give them a go. Sick set up, reminds me of my belly racer on green 176's with RF's

When I talked to Madrid a few weeks ago about the MG they said that it was no longer the crazy width that it was before. Which is an utter shame because the main reason I was attracted to it was due to my shoe size. I could be wrong though, they may still be putting it out with those specs, I'm not involved with them at all.

Just got the Zak Maytum pro model but unfortunately havent been able to try it out since it won't stop raining. I've got some 50 degree randals right now and am getting static bite with 90a and 93a duro barrel venom's. I wanted to put on 42 degree plates but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. I'll give you all an update once the roads dry a bit.

Finally got out on my new setup and it was sick. Love the Maytum concave and all in all it's a sweet deck. Got bite with 50 degree randals flipped so unflipped and they're good to go. Really wanted to mount them with 42 degrees but I don't think that will happen. Anyways the board is stiff and the W cave is slight but you can feel it. Love the board, needs wheel-wells, but nice work madrid!

Not sure if I said this before but the T3 mold with the new layup feels way better than it did with just maple. The rails feel a lot sharper and it just feels a lot more crisp. I'm really stoked on how it feels and who knows, I might be racing on this in the Southwest Series.

Those clear green wheels are in the same mold and core as the Venom Sidewinder. They're not gonna be blow-your-mind fast; but they'll be fun to slide around on.

Grip tape isn't designed to be removed and reapplied. No brand is.

From what I know any madrid rid like in the video can get any graphic on any board, or in other words they can make a board however they want as long as they go to the factory to get it.
