Question Boardshops in the DC Metro Area

Where are the brick and mortar board shops here?

Just moved back from LA and would rather support a local shop than a faceless internet.

Also, has anyone ridden down rock creek parkway on the weekends when it's closed to cars? Is it fast?

Rock Creek park has some fun hills. DC has a lot to offer but most of it can only be ridden at night. There are saturday night skate sessions out of EastCoastBoardCo. if you are interested and there will be other things going on throughout the summer as well.

So you just show up and skate? I need people to skate with so this sounds pretty sweet. Got any details?

My first skateboard was from the east of Maui in Bethesda. It was their shop deck, and I only got to skate it once in their skatepark before it and the bethesda location closed...that was a real shame. I still have it lying around somewhere.
