Default Shops w/ leathers and helmets in DC area

Does anyone know any motorcycle/dirtbike/bike shops in the DC area with leathers or full face helmets? I am probably going to get the 661 fullcomp, bell drop, bell bellistic or the giro remedy. as far as leathers go, i just need full leathers in a decent price range; like 250, maybe 300. any more than 300 might be a bit much, but i am willing to shop around. Any help at all is great. Also, anyone with used leathers, let me know.

use craigshelper.com to search every craigslist site in the country. There are plenty of leathers out there to be found if you put in the time to find them. Most people will accept paypal if you pay for shipping.

Be sure to check sizing charts for whatever brand you happen to find. All leathers are not sized the same so be very sure of what you are getting if you buy via the net. I made it a point to tell the seller how big (fat) I was and ask if the suit would fit me. Worry more about girth than length as motorcycle leathers are made to wear with riding boots so if the suit is made for someone taller than you chances are they will still fit as there is room for them to go farther down your legs (actually better coverage that way)

If you can afford it, a set with CE approved armor in the knees, elbows, and shoulders is best. Eat it once and you won't be sorry you spent a few extra bucks.

TNTRide.com sells Bell Drop helmets for a pretty good price and Travis is really cool in supporting our scene so buy from him if you can.

Definitely use craigs list or ebay for your first suit. A used suit in good condition can be found easily for cheap if you take enough time to look. The bell drop suggestion is also a good one.
