Hey folks. I was a skate rat 15 or 20 years ago and recently I reconnected with an old friend that I used to skate with. He had lived overseas for a while and bought himself a long board while over there. Being an old guy now (I'm 35 ha ha) I thought long boarding seemed more mellow and looked like fun so I got myself a board as well. My friend lives in Annapolis and I live in Laurel and we were wondering if anyone out there can recommend some cool spots in the area where we can ride. We're not looking for any super extreme downhills or anything, just some place to get a bit of speed and do some carving, sliding and stuff. Although he's been riding for a while, I'm just getting my skate legs back and I'd like to find a place to re-learn. If anyone knows of some cool spots, I'd appreciate the info.
