There are some pics of chicago's scavenger hunt.
Funny story,we were on the middle of the race and I saw a longboarder like a block behind us and I told to one of the team mates "there his a guy on a longboard way behind us" when he looks back the guy its next to us with a big smile says"Hi ,I heard that you guys have a event going here,can I ride with ya?" we reply "of course" and he saiys " by the way my name is Mike Dallas,lets win this thing!!!"
Thats why Mike Dallas its on our pics.

Haha, Mike Dallas is awesome, and he's a beast at pushing. Met him at the Jersey Jumpoff and i hang out with him after the Shoekill race last sunday!

sorry havent really been keeping up, if this is in the spring i probably wont be able to make it since I'll be in pittsburgh for school.

after hearing some of the ideas i started to get into this its a shame ill miss it sounds like a good time.

alrite so this thread has been dead for a lil and i think its time we start thinkin about this thing.
so lets start gathering some ideas in this shizz.

I am so down for this. Would gladly make the trip from University of Delaware and try to bring as many skaters as I could with me. Honestly, this idea puts a smile on my face just thinking about how much fun it could be. If you guys need help with anything, let me know (I'll see what I can do). As for clues I only know the touristy spots and concert venues of Philly, so I'm not too good at that.

Boundaries
Western = 48th (or 49th, anything basically right after penn's campus)
Northern = Zoo/Temple U.
Eastern = look at a map
Southern = Sports Complex

there are so many things, I think it'll have to be a list. Each section is worth "X" amount of points and has 3-5 landmarks, extra points for getting everything in a specific section, most points win, the harder
places to find are worth more points. time limit: 4-5 hours

Example:

major(1 point each, all five = 10 points)
the bell
pat's
art museum
30th street station
city hall

Minor (3 points each, all = 30 points)
club Risque
Edgar allan Poe House
Buckley green
Bucca di beppo
The Mutter museum

haha. i like the idea of having a list.
i think we should have a time limit too.
we get everybody out and have a ton of things on the list. almost impossible to complete but you must end at Pat's of Geno's at a certain time where we will proceed to give out prizes and check pics.
then we feast.

hey, those points sound good, but let's not put club risque on it, there're plenty of other places in philly we can skate to.

let's not forget love park, and u of penn campus has lots of cool places to skate around. and drexel, too, drexel to penn is like all downhill!

i don't know many minor places so im leaving that up to u guys.
also i think we'll just use the boundries as a guidline to find places but its not really necessary. also i don't know the layout of the city that well (i don't live there)

also, here the thing, maybe we'll come up with a master list, but not everyone knows the scavenger hunt list will be, and that day we'll have all get the papers and we'll have to plan out stuff at that moment? rather than all of us knowing the routes and figuring it out before hand. it takes the spontaneity out of it knowing it before hand.

i like that.
so we get a ton of places. we'll select the amount. and the morning/hour b4 the hunt we'll give them each point values. only a few people work on the list at that time and none of them will be from the same team.

This thing sounds amazing, i will definitely try to come to it, although i might have volleyball which would be very disappointing. But anyways, i agree in keeping the list not final until the morning. This seems like a lot of fun, what if you add pics of the places that we are going, and also have points awarded for uniqueness of the photo's
