Anyone in Israel?
Most if the time I'm in the UK but I've got family in Haifa, in the north of Israel on the coast. Just curious if anyone on here has been there. Seems like it'd be good for DH, the entire place is built on a mountain. On the downside it does have some pretty rough roads.

Re: Anyone in Israel?
The drivers in Israel are a bit aggressive, I've never had anyone actively trying to hit me but they do seem to act as if you're not there.
Never been to Tel Aviv for more than a few hours so I can't really say anything about it, but the weather is pretty much guaranteed to be good, was over 30 degrees the entire time I was in Haifa.

Belive me the drivers in Italy are worse.
In Tel Aviv there is not a big hill. Only for a slide sessions.
The road to the dead sea is one of the best in the world.
And we have some nice Downhill road in Jerusalem closed for trafic.
Hope to see you soon

Re: Anyone in Israel?
I think I'll be coming to Israel this summer. I am going to be working at a Monkey Park.
Anyone willing to take me to some gnar hills? I want to hit some of the roads that lead to the dead sea.

The road that runs east from Jerusalem? In my recollection, it's long, wide, well paved, and enticing. It's been a while since I was out that way, and I wasn't taking too critical of an eye towards the road; rather I was focused on the natural beauty of the Judaean Desert. My curiosity has been aroused now.
