Hopefully someone will move this over to the right forum. But yeah there are plenty of us from Chicago and the Suburbs. Check out Chicago Longboard Society, guys plan stuff for longboarders to get together and have a good time with.

The Chicago Longboard Society is having an event downtown called the snapshot, it's a photo scavenger hunt through the city. It was originally scheduled for this saturday at noon but there might be a rain date set at the 30th. Check it out on their facebook group or at Chicago Longboard Society: LandSurfing by the Lake . Well, we do seem to have more than enough minivan-raging soccer-moms that like to back out of driveways at breakneck speeds.

Be it cyclists, longboarders, joggers, or what have you, we seem to get treated like worthless obstacles to getting Junior to practice on time.

So though there may be people here, my question was posed more toward the saner, recreational asphalt users.
