    Question Any beginners in Minnesota?

I just moved back to Minnesota from Florida where I learned how to ride with 3 of my guy friends. I'm still a novice, but I really want to get better. Anyone on here who is a beginner and wants to cruise around and maybe luge as well?

I just got my board about a week or two ago, I'm having so much fun with it.

I'm 20 minutes SW of the cities, where are you at?

I'm about 20 min. SW of the cities as well...whoa weird. haha Have you found any good trails or smallish to medium sized hills (I'm too much of a wimp yet for the big ones) where you are at? The roads and sidewalks suck by me with the exception of trails around the lakes that are a bit smoother.

yeah thanks! I've been posting in there a bit myself. they seem a bit advanced for me though. I'm just a beginner (started a month ago) so I was looking for others in the same or similar boat. maybe there aren't too many.

Hey, I'm a total beginner in Minnesota. I live downtown minneapolis. I've only been riding for a couple months.

Hey! That's awesome! Have you found any good paved roads or trails? I'm from a suburb of Minneapolis and the roads pretty much suck because of the pot holes and whatnot. Have you tried riding around any of the lakes in Minneapolis yet? I was thinking of driving out there to do that, but I wasn't sure if the paths around them are good.

Lake Calhoun has a nice path and is a good push. Look for a contest later this year sponsored by Cal-Surf that uses the Calhoun path. Visit Cal-Surf when you push around Lake Calhoun.
