U.P. Longboarding
Hello everyone!
As we know, the longboarding scene in the U.P. (if you're not from the U.P. it means the Upper Peninsula) is quite small.
SO, here we are making a thread where we can get together and share some good runs and information.
I will be posting my runs near my house once I finally get my camera!

Re: U.P. Longboarding
Also, if you are going to visit the U.P. stop by here and give us a shout and maybe we can all meet up.
Petary, dude you have to come up and visit some of these hills.

Re: U.P. Longboarding
Hey good to see some life on this thread. Yeah i'm right in marquette at NMU, i dont know how much i'll be here in the summer though because i'm from downstate by detroit. But if youre ever up here definitely let us know maybe we can arrange something. I'm pretty new to the sport still, but i'm in to downhill.
MNposter Child: It'd be sweet to get some events or races around here going, but first we gotta find some people haha i see a ton of people boarding around campus, but this thread has been pretty quiet and i haven't seen another about longboarding up here..

Hey. I'm in Sault Ste. Marie. Don't know anyone around that longboards. Just me and now recently I helped a few friends pick out boards for them. So 4 of us, but they're all quite new at the moment. Anyone around?

I'm up in Grand Marais, with about 5 people who ride daily. Next time I go to Duluth, I'm going to bring my board so I can hit some hills with a friend. Me and my friend have been riding for about 3 years. If anyone knows of any good hills with low traffic, let me know of them.

That would be sweet! Grand Marais is like the mini Duluth, only with no traffic and maybe not as good of hills.
