    Default DH in Wisconsin

It is clear to me - based on the interest being shown in the DH non-race we have at the Wiggle War - that there are a lot of people in Wisconsin and Minnesota that want to get the DH scene going. I'd love it too. There aren't many places around here in Dane County, but I know that there are good runs over by Governor Dodge State Park (Southwest), Lapham Peak State Park (Southeast), and all over northern Wisco. I have a particular favorite road up in Sauk County just outside of LaValle.

Who's gonna step up and get a DH race organized? Organizing one race a year is enough for me, but I would be willing to assist ... and of course - attend.

You'll definitely see some interest from Michigan coming out too. Don't forget America's High Five!

"America's High Five" I love it. When I lived in Alaska we used to refer to the 48 states as the lower 48 and Alaska as the Upper 1.

I know there are good hills in Michigan too. There really is no reason we can't have a DH scene here in the upper midwest. I know that out in Colorado and along the east and west coast they have mountain roads that go on for miles, but still. We should be able to do something here.
