Minneapolis weekday skating sessions.

hey guys.

I'm skating in Minneapolis on weekday afternoons pretty much whenever it's nice out, so if anyone wants to join and make a meet out of it, you should. Typically I'll skate on a variety of bike paths/bridges/river access roads in uptown, south, and campus.. since I mostly skate in the afternoon/early evening, I don't really hit garages or busy streets. if you don't know, some of the bike paths around here are really nice, and a few of the river spots are quite gnar, and would make for really fun corner-drifting sessions.

anyway, let me know if there's any interest, and if so I'll post a meet point/time.

anyway, what time/day/location works best for you/your friends?

I usually am off work by 1:30pm, so anytime in the afternoon pretty much works.

I'm off all day tomorrow (friday), so anytime works for me if anyone wants to skate either here in minneapolis/stp or afton.

ok guys, I'm not getting a whole lot of feedback, so I'm going to go ahead and plan on doing this on Wednesdays. I'm almost always off work by 1:30pm, ready to go by 2:00pm, so anytime from then until sundown works for me.

I know some really fun spots right here in minneapolis, and most people seem to agree that I'm not a horrible person to skate with, so if anyone has any interest in making this happen, by all means post/show up. If I have your number, expect to get harassing text messages and phone calls tonight and tomorrow.

First Wednesday meet will start at Lake Calhoun. Meet at 4pm at the main park building (red roof, right off lake st near Cal Surf).

I'd be interested on coming down from st. cloud on some fridays, and after april 14th, even wednesdays...the guys here aren't really as serious about riding as me (30 mins and they're done), so it would be worth the drive for me. I'll watch the thread and try and make it down for a sesh!
