Welch Access Road - Almost Baked

I have been watching this particular road for a while now. And it appears the county and state road crews agree - it needs to be skated. I expect the whole 2 miles from Highway 61 to downtown Welch MN will be done within 2 weeks. More updates to follow. It will require 2 separate runs. From Highway 61 to the first uphill is rather mellow. The second run will be from mid-way to downtown Welch MN and will be much faster and has a few more aggressive turns that add some fun.

If you ride it they will come. 2.2 miles on 7 is a graceful, soulful, fulfilling roll through some of the best asphalt recently poured in MN. Do you have a board that is ready?
