argh rain. friday activities postponed until further notice... we should still be able to hit the ramps tonight though. stand by.

Possible schedule

Sunday - Pusher at Lake Calhoun 10am

Sunday - After the Pusher caravan to Afton. I have a van that holds 7 or and have a driver volunteered. Run the race at Afton. This will allow the overnight moisture to burn off and hopefully by Noon the road will be ready to ride.

Sunday - After the DH Race head back to MPLS and attend the Outlaw Slalom at about 3pm.

Seems like this may work to get in these events.

hey, thanks to everyone for coming out and making last weekend happen.. besquared longboards crew out of fargo, twin cities slalom crew, minneapolis/duluth locals representing.

things went far better than I expected, frankly... (

)

perfect weather, no major injuries, solid turnout, camaraderie was enjoyed, good times were had. no legal issues

lets do it next year, start advertising it now, and try to get all the iowians and wisconsinites and michiganders and whathaveyou.

This weekend was the ####.

BEAUTIFUL weather.
Afton was gorgeous, even if the hills were a little ridiculous.

Overall, it couldn't have gone better.

The EVO on the bottom pitched my old ass into the ditch at the bottom of #1... Got a prescription of V and a reminder that I'm still alive. Thanks for a fun day and I will be back! lol

Was a good time. Keynan--you got away too easily this year, next year I'm comin for you. And I have a skateboard and dark coat still in my trunk...I take it you don't need the skateboard with your new deck and crails...

Can't wait to see uncut footage. Whens that surfacing? Seeing the actual edited videos will be cool, but definitely wanna hear some sliding wheels and zing of wheels in the downhill race

3E SQUARED: Thanks for the wheels! I think you were the most diverse slider in the competition but I definitely needed them badly. Put me down for a uberstiff concaved twintip dropdeck..no rush till spring though...

I definitely enjoy the night cruises of Duluth, and the races at Afton. Hairpin was cool too
...lookin 4ward to next year

oh and to the besquared crew- I finally got some grip on my new deck last weekend and took it out to afton... was too wet to ride the main hills, but it was alot of fun on the slide hill

probably going to chop it a few inches though, thing has a beastly wheelbase! what is it, 33"? 34?

I will check on some local options for this type of sign. I was more of the wire with a florescent green sign/flag at each of the driveways on Afton #2 and some at the top and bottom. Size does matter and it needs to be a quick and easy message

I also plan to get the addresses of key homes in Afton and make a MNLBC Holiday Card to send to our friendly neighbors on the road. Can't hurt to keep up the good relationship.
