Northern OHIO Hills...

OK, for seriously though, i have lived up here for going on 2 years and have found maybe 2 decent hills... there has to be something up here that wont kill us and provide with a really long ride!
I just got a few new boards and im STOKED to go hit up some fresh pavement!!!!!!
If ANYONE knows of some NICE LONG GNAR hills hit me up and well do it!!!
IM SOOOOO STOKED!!!!!

Parking garages downtown cleveland any good?

I've been looking for places to skate in Ohio too.
I come up there like once a month to visit my gf who goes to school at Kent State.
I skate campus while she's at class, and her block is pretty sweet too, but that's about it.

I ride around ksu somtimes too, if you want hills around here you need to venture into the cuyahoga valley, the biggest hills northeast Ohio are there some are about a mile long.
I know a guy whos got some movies of him and his buddies bombin hills in the valley on youtube, just search ohio longboarding or somthin similar, you should be able to find them

Thanks man, will def try to find some of these mysterious river valley hills you speak of... or better yet... why dont you tell me which ones and where that would be sweet!! Or we could just meet up and skate those suckers together!

unfortantly I broke my board so I've kinda tried to forget about riding untill it gets back. Im more into freestyle myself, but when i get my board back ill try to get a little session and introduce you to some of the riders I know

What kind of board did you have? i build cheepo blank dropthrough speedboards.... i could make you one and you can just mount your hardware and stuff in it..... let me know and ill start one.... im probly going to try and head down to the "bath road" hill on tuesday if you want to meet down there....

Hey guys, I kinda lost my stoke for boardin a while back but recently got back into it heavy and I live in Westlake, Ohio near Crocker Park (google it if u got no idea what it is) and there aren't any amazing hills near me, but the metroparks are crazy and got me in a cast for about 2 months, lol, and theres a 5 story parking garage, but the cops there are horribly good at catchin me up there, But I visit my cousins who go to Geneva College in Pennsylvania and its only about a 1 and a half hour drive from my house and they have a massive hill going right through town and basically everyone boards to class, if any of u guys are interested, I go up there like every other weekend but never really had a chance to hit the hill...

oh, and hit me up any time u want to go boarding around the cleveland area, I go to Tri-C Metro but live in Westlake, so I'm game anywhere in Northern Ohio

I had a Neversummer Heist, but I had to send it back complete so I dont have any hardware i should have a new one in 2 weeks or so i hope. Im going to school right now in wooster so im usually around on the weekends, but that guy on youtube responed to my comment right away and hit me up to go riding. I dont really know what part of bath road they were riding, but most the roads in the valley have the biggest hills around so youll definantly find somthing. If your comin from up north breaksville reservation is great, hilly roads and paved bike paths. Have fun

NICE!!!! I cant wait ill def be down there on Tuesday with a buddy to hit those hills HARD!!!! STOKED!!!!!!

And Troy, we could def hit some hills out on the West side together... i live in the avon area so were pretty close!

Dude, I was just in avon/avon lake, I live right on the edge of Avon (10 feet actually, half my yard is in avon, lol), but we definitely need to hit up some hills soon, just got my Loaded Dervish in the mail and that means I can smash my Gravity Mini-carve to pieces on some sick hills, gonna be savin my Dervish for some mellow cruisin or sliding, I shot u a text from one of the other forums where u posted ur number

Found one.
West 45th off of OH Hwy 2 its just north of 2 and goes down to Great lakes towing on the old river, havent checked it out by land yet but i saw it from the water yesterday and it looks like fresh pavement if my eyes were working properly!
Cant wait to hit it up when i get off work!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If anyone has been there before or can check it out before me (i get off work Monday at noonish) let me know how it is !!

From Google earth, that hill looks legit. There could also be some other good stuff in the area, take some pics when you go!

081-43.05 West
Or just find West 45th street and follow it all the way till it dead ends on the water in the Old River.
I would pin it and send a link from google earth but i a Ra-tard and dont know how....
I did get a Lat and Long though off a chart if that helps....

if you guys ever get the chance, and somehow find a way to get into Lakeside OH you will not regret it, i go to church camp there and i am finally getting a longboard. the whole town is hills from the entrance to the lake, check it out on google maps

I live very close to that location.. Just follow that yellow shoreway, going left, until you hit cliff drive.. that's where I reside and there's a few kick ass hills.
