University Of Michigan Longboard club

Just wondering if there is one. I know alot of people that ride in Ann Arbor and i think a club should be started if there isn't one. Since I am not a U of M student i can't start a actual club. If anyone on these boards is a student there and wants to start a club contact me i would be happy to help.

Dude I been working my arse off, hardcore miniGP racing with my kids over the summer......... working hard on my house......... hitting the gym 3-4 nights a week with my son or daughter...... hitting up some Mini dirt bike riding on a friends killer 1 mile natural terrain MX track.......

just pressed 4 decks.......... working on getting some serious art done........ its all gonna be serious PPG custom auto paint......... very trick stuff........

In school full time with 16 months to GO!

Man what have I knot been doing........

I have Tuesdays free to shread!

Lots of LBs on campus verse the past year!

Oh I did hit up M22 up at the sleepy bear dunes this summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mostly hit some other roads........ no cars, and those that were there were diggin the carving!

I gotta get these 4 decks done and sell them..........

I need some lessons on sliding! I did a tad bit in some wet a while back

nice! where do you work in AA? Also where do you get your plies to press your decks been looking in AA couldn't find anywhere, even at that lumber yard off of hill st. Where do you usually ride in AA? And ya there are alot of other boarders on campus this year compared to last year i would only see one or two.

When I ride in A2 mostly the north west side, Pomona, Red Oak. then over M14 to the west of Newport there is a new RICH Daddy sub with killer streets........ Theres some other smaller hills that got big fresh UBER wide pavement this late summer near Eberwhite elementary school, short but SCHMOOOOOOVE and 2-3 times as wide as a typical street!

Yah PM me for a phone number, i'm down for just about any tuesday morning, afternoon is scrumpy time with dah woman

I also have a 2 hour break on wed from 10:30 to 12:30 for a quicky sesh, maybe on north campus? Maybe off east Hill street? Or some huge UM parking lots on north campus?

Its way more fun to thrash with a few others!

Ya our schedules def conflict. I got class at all the times you have time to skate haha.

Ya i've only been skating for a year so im not that good still trying to learn how to slide and all that jazz. I don't really have anyone to skate with that is alot more experienced than me. So it would def be cool to skate with ya. Me and my friends usually just go bombing in paraking garages around down town ann arbor. I def want to check out the roads by eberwhite.

you have to find a local to ride with.......... Them GO Green dudes have been down here a few times.......

Its not like its a killer town for speed........

Longest runs are around 1/4 to a 1/2 mile........ maybe hitting 35-40 with a brisk tail wind from the west to northwest. A calm day 30mph is easy stuff.

If anyone is interested I have the following 4 sale:

4 each LB blanks pre-shaped, various lengths, holes 28"-32", pre-drilled for adjustments..... these are general cruising and DH decks.

A couple of Mini Bombs, 18"-22" holes.

All the decks have mild flex.

BB through out construction with "Tight-bond III".

$40 with basic poly-urethane clear coat.

I'm in A2 a few days a week....... easy to contact via PM

I have some samples that can be test cruised

I have study group from 10:30 till 1pm. soccer from 5 til 6:30...... Weather lok slike typical michigan crap....... sunday looks like the bomb though.

I could hit up A2 from 11am til 3pm. gotta study for an exam on monday......

Ah well good luck man. Clarkston as near the Ack, you betcha. We're actually scrapping the sesh due to precipitation, but we're gonna hit a slide hill in the Lansing area more than likely.

Checked out those new roads by eberwhite after watching paranormal activity, the roads look like alot of fun can't wait to bomb down them.

Okay so i'm gonna hit SOULE BLVD, ala Eberwhite elementary..... just off Liberty on the west side of town.

I'll be bringing two EYE PHLY big carving decks........ Hopefully next week i'll have a couple of other smaller prototype bombs to test out
