    Default Southeastern Wisconsin Riders

Alright, the two best spots I know are around Oconomowoc, my former home.

    Spot #1: The Cemetery

Take Highway 16 west until it ends, then follow the traintracks until you reach a road on the right called Lapham. Turn, explore, and enjoy a neighborhood that has almost no one in it.

Direction note: it should be the second turn after the McDonalds...

Spot #2: Lapham Peak State Park

Take I-94 west until you hit the exit AFTER (read: AFTER) 83. Turn left and go straight until you hit Lapham Peak state park. $8 admission for a .7 mile run, nice slalom spot, and tons of trails. All spots are legal, except the trails.

Enjoy, and let the skating take your mind off how much of a joke your state is.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.

    Default Wisco

Wisco is not such a joke, we are just missing mountains and surf and moderate weather. Otherwise it is fine. Cemetaries seem like a good venue, I've never ridden in one. Cemetaries have good pavement and minimal traffic. I just worry about slamming into a headstone. Al

I get the feeling that Lapham Peak is Wisconsin's Maryhill? I gotta get over there.

There is some nice terrain over on the west side of the state too. I've been eyeing it for a couple of seasons. Mostly light traffic rural, but that means that some yokel might run around a blind corner on your side of the road.
Skate 'em if you got 'em,

    Cool Re: Southeastern Wisconsin Riders

Went out last night for a few runs down a local road. Much fun... too bad it was dark. Tried to get some footage as best as possible with it being nighttime. I'm the one with the Loaded gloves that look like they light up because of the nightvision.. very 'Tron- esque'

The hill wasn't too too steep, but I'd imagine we hit a top speed of 25ish. Still loads of fun.

I'm relatively new to long boarding and am from the West Bend area. Rode T-board for a while & Landy Switchblade came today. Anybody know of good spots in Washington county?
