Re: Bainbridge, who's going?
I got 50 cones I can bring, plus a couple extra slalom boards.
What Bainbridge is it at? Can anyone send me a google maps link? I have a big empty house people could chill at if its close enough.

Re: Bainbridge, who's going?
You guys don't have any extra wheels? That's basically what I was getting at, not necesarily trucks or decks or complete setups.

I have 84a gumballs, I'll probably bring them.

Re: Bainbridge, who's going?
Hey Alex - if the ride I'm planning on having as of now falls through, is there any chance I can tag along with you? I'll be able to get myself to your area by the time you normally plan on leaving, I'll pitch gas money and buy you and your dad lunch if you guys would like. I'd hate to miss this race, the venue seems so freaking awesome. Let me know if its a possibility. Thanks dude.

Re: Bainbridge, who's going?
I sure hope you guys can control your speed and footbrake while turning left. If you think you can make the righty without slowing down - your dreaming. don't take other riders out cause your still coming to grips with what you can and can not make.
i am going to try and make it to ohio. there will be a lot of riders this year. Jimmy told me he's going along with Jim Z, Tom Ed., and a lot of other Candians, Will and Ethan also told me they're going. Macentire, rj, and maybe rob.
if i make it, i'll look forward to riding with you guys. it will be nice to meet you in person, Nick.
run whatever setups you feel comfortable with, if your always switching out wheels, etc you may find yourself shooting yourself in the foot.
my bainbridge wheel quiver: big zigs, 76 flys, cherry bombs, turbos, super mundos.
i run a lot of wheels and have a lot of time on each of these wheels.
if you plan on bringing lots of kinds, make sure you spend some time well before the race sorting out their differances that way you can focus on the hill and not your board come race day.

Re: Bainbridge, who's going?
I think i'm going to stay at that school place i read about on the website. Cheap is good.
This hill sounds gnar, I'm thinking footbreaking while turning left at like 50mph? sounds gnar, but ya gotta deal. Staying in control and not compromising other racers should be everyone's first priority.

Re: Bainbridge, who's going?
I'm going to go out with two baseball bats to scare off other riders. I also will be throwing down random spike strips and mines. There is no way I can control my speed at all so everyone will have to watch out for me. I have no care for anyone's safety but myself so deal with it.
If you didn't notice, I was kidding.

Re: Bainbridge, who's going?
I heart Cops. - I'll be bringing mine with me. I'll have tons of wheels with me to swap out, could probably toss my JimZ hangers on it if you wanted to take a spin on it with those. Ask me if you want to ride it when we're there.

Re: Bainbridge, who's going?
ok sounds good. also, would avilas be good for downhill? these besides gummies are the only other wheels that would work for this course.

Re: Bainbridge, who's going?
They would work, I don't know if they'd be amazing compared to other wheels. Just bring them and we'll see when we hit the course.

Re: Bainbridge, who's going?
I was thinking of throwing down for some Fly's but I just can't see myself on any other wheel other than gumballs, I'll probably get a set of Bigzigs.

Re: Bainbridge, who's going?
do the wheel that your most comfortable on, i know i underestimated MCGF hearing it was just a 40mph hill, i get there and its freshly paved and 50-60mph, i have a feeling when a few of you arrive you wont be thinking about 'whats best for the course' but whats best for you and what you are most comfortable on
