Ok so who's going to demons of downhill, what even are you racing? Equipment?

For me I'll be using my 9ply evo, randal 180's and pink gumballs, does anyone know if that will be good?
I'll also be wearing my new leathers and an Icaro Skyrunner.

yeah, i'll have a slide board also. anyone know what kind of course to expect. I hear GNARLY. like 65+ mph. Sounds fun.

your what? slalom board? couldnt do that to you, im new to slalom dont want to mess it up. (prob will) slide board, sure im pretty good at sliding, leathers? prob dont fit me

I meant slalom board and sliding board. My slalom board is actually a humu, I use it for general cruising and slalom as I don't have a better fitting board. Slide board, you can definitely use it. And I didn't mean leathers.

About wheels, I've always felt faster on Gumballs than bigger wheels ie flys. This was also reinforced by a few runs I ran on each wheel with a gps in hand.

and i feel tons faster on my flys than gummies. and im thinking of bringing my chicago longboard carver too, but ill need to take that and my demonseed apart to fit in the same bag.-

I don't get how you guys can decide on what boards you're going to ride before you're practicing on the hill...

I'm still (tentatively) trying to make it. I'll probably bring my KebbeK Caften w/ JimZs, Rayne Avenger w/ Randals, tons of wheels to swap out, a slide board and a slalom board. I could bring cones. I saw something on the schedule about a slalom demo... I'd be psyched to skate for some people and try to get 'em hooked.

hey Sofa King, would you come to NYC and do a slalom clinic one weekend sometime this fall? maybe get a few other slalom-ers to come as well. i'm trying to learn, but i think there must be some tips that would be helpful. i learned a ***-load just watching you guys at the Farm.

well, i know what im riding becuase i only have one board. i cant afford all the crap you do so dont critisize. but i do have the choice to bring my drop through. prob wont pass tech though.
