Conner, let us know if any of the potential spots end up being skateable. I would love to ride on Friday. If I can get out of work early, I will call you or Ross. I'm not sure if you know, but it is only supposed to get up to a balmy 11 degrees Friday. Saturday is good for me. We could take a few runs if its dry and then scout runs the rest of the time.

As usual, I will be riding at the Modern Skate Park on Sunday. All are welcome.

Endless Summer will forever be a fond memory for Michigan skateboarding. Can anyone name these guys?

Hmm I am drawing a blank. I saw 'Endless Summer' the movie and remake but I have still have no clue. Keep those pics coming though Chris. I love those vintage skate pics, especially ones from the mitten!

Hey Conner, you wanna talk about cold. I think our runs today were in like single digits.

Here's the video... watch in HQ/HD... just click the video here and then click watch in hq in the bottom right corner of the vid.
Hey Pete that was a Rite Aid in your video right? That looks like Flushing. You should include George ST, Henry ST or Terrace hill in your video.

Flushing has some very nice hills for bombing but they're somewhat short and lead into busy traffic.

Anyone got tips to avoid "cabin fever" of not being able to long board because of the snow? I go to U of M Flint's garages but they're becoming more strict about riders, even at ~2am. Last time that the roads were clean in my area was late December and I'm stuck in my house bored playing stupid video games and trying to make my own sliding gloves. :P

I live in Downtown Kalamazoo - right at the bottom of the valley. Any direction I go, I can think of at least 5 different low traffic hills. Hit me up if your in the area, and I'll show you the ropes! I'm out riding every day the grounds dry.

I'm in SE MI and I've never been to the UP but I would be down as long as it's set in stone and there's for sure spots to hit.

When my tax return comes, I'm going to use my cash to buy a longboard. Right now I'm looking for a good one, but I have no idea what I want or what to look for. I'm totally new. Like a freshly birthed baby.

It would be cool if I could hook up with somebody to show me the ropes or even having somebody just help me figure out what I want.

Agreed with Tags, and also PM me where you're going in Clarkston, because I have a gnarly ass place I'm gonna hit after it dries up some more. It's actually my friend's private sub. Drift or die.

I'm not from TC, but I'm more than happy to help. IIRC TC is pretty hilly, no? What are you looking to do?

I <3 NE MI; hopefully I'll be up there this summer for a bit. I know I'm road tripping to Glen Arbor with some guys to skate.

I'm seriously concerned with blowing it out, so I'd love to meet up with you sometime. Basically, he lives on a lake (whose name will not be spoken of for a while) and he lives basically at the top of the area. There's hardly any traffic at all. If you go up a little higher, there's a small right turn, then a gnarly right turn that you gotta drift (probably going 25ish at this point because the drop is STEEP.) Then it goes relatively flat (I'm going off of memory) then drops into a full fledged classy neighborhood DH I think. I'll be home in March for Spring Break, then not again til early May, but if it dries off I'm sure Tagsrover would probably drive us down. We'll figure it out.
