how in the hell are you guys DH'ing in MI w/ all the snow? MN just got hammered so all the streets are trashed w/ salt and snow.

There is no snow in Michigan. Yeah it's been cold as hell, but we've had clear roads for at least a week. Plus we are badass and ride what we got.

Well thats lame... 45+ huh? We might be pushing that limit too with the right winds on this new clarky clark hill. We were pushing 35+ with a strong head wind and barely a push start or tuck. Fun stuff I must say. BTW its still only mid 20's here with the sun out so its not like were riding in shorts or anything. Well Doors rode naked but thats his prerogative. Might need to bust out the leathers for this one conney!

Connor and Ross and company, DH'n next week? It's my spring break from the 7th til the 14th and my Comet Voodoo might be here so I need to try it out. If not, I'll DH on the Mosquito!! Alright, this Saturday, it's on. I got a relatively nooby rider staying with me, but we'll have him carve like a mother. Where do you guys want to go? Your spots or mine? Either way, I think we're heading out to Clarkston. Will you guys be ready to rip around 11 or 12?

11 or 12 sounds fine. That's when we usually meet. Clarkston all the way for Saturday. Maybe we could meet right near DTE Music Theater. Give me a call Saturday morning and we can figure things out.

Mmmmm leathers would be nice, so would a full face, but it'll buff out.

Since I've never skated the spot I'm not sure of the speed. What about your runs? No more than 40? I hope I don't die. I might just be doing 180's the whole way down haha.

Maybe mid 40s with a decent tail wind. You should be fine, i dont think these run require any footbreaking

I know right where you're talkin about. We'll be there at 11am sharp. You aren't the only one without DH gear. All I have is a half dome and pads, but I think they should do the trick.

Conner/Ross, we could meet at my place at 10:15am and just shoot down 696E to 75N. Let me know if that sounds good to the both of you.

i would but thursday night me and my buddy are packin up the boards and getting in the car....don't know where we're going but we've got the whole weekend to find warmer weather and hopefully some good cruising!

Driving Directions from Hudsonville, MI to Jacksonville, FL

There you go playa. 18 hours drive to Jacksonville FL. Leave thursday night, that gives you all day to shred the gnar at Kona on Saturday. Spend the night, then buck up and spend sunday haulin ass back to michigan.

Awesome. I'll get a full face in time, but I am just super stoked on some topmount action. I talked to Jay, finder of Wabeek, and he might be heading down on Saturday too. Major stokage.

For what it's worth, Dr. Dadavidly is coming too and he's no speed demon. Will he be alright carving these hills?
