Dan, I will just meet you guys there. It is a straight shot north from my house. Unless you maybe wanna ride the park by your place afterwards cause then I will for sure meet at your place.
****ing rain. I may not ride in the rain, but I might be willing to be a shuttle for a fee. We shall see.
Ross, I think we should hit Modern for sure. I will text you my address so you can meet me there on Saturday morn.

Bring a slide setup and we'll spin down the hills. I'd still be willing to DH in the rain as long as the hill is fairly straight.
I might me down friday night. Anyone want to garage ride with us?
I am down to ride Friday night. I will be done working at 2:30pm. Where were you thinking of riding?

Re: Michigan Longboarding!
I was talking about hitting up the 11 mile park after we shred the clark. But if its raining then modern might be in order. Count me out too if it is rainin, it would be very sketchy on this particular hill ya know?
Got your addy

Do you mean Modern skate park in royal oak? how is the flow there? We are just getting into park skating but if it's a fun park we might make the trek out there sometime to meet up and skate? Or you guys are welcome to come over here. We don't have the DH but we can ride park, slide, and hit garages at night

Yeah, I DH. And even if it was more like freeriding I'd totally be up for it but I work all day. :/

Balls.
..this michigan weather can seriously bite me right now. It was really nice yesterday and today when I went out. But being a 115 lb girl still means I'm cold as sh*t until I warm up! lol

The Road Rages came today. I have this feeling that the board will be here later tonight. Damn you USPS and you're god awful tracking!
EDIT: Is the Beek even close to the spot where we're meeting off of I-75? I Google Earthed and I don't know if what I'm looking at makes sense.
Pete, it is about 25 minutes south of the Clarkston spot. If we are just going to ride the 'beek (due to rain), I see no reason to head out to Clarkston.
The Lime, Lemon and Orange Freerides will be on my porch Friday and my Old Man Army 'fish bag will be here today. Stoked!!!

Re: Michigan Longboarding!
I say we play it safe and meet at the 'beek. Once we get our feet wet (no pun intended), a decision can be made on whether or not to hit up Clarkston. If we decide to make the journey, we can all pile in one car and save some loot on gas. If not, we can bomb the Brown Street garage in Birmingham and maybe do a little corner sess at Oakland University. How's that for a slice of fried gold?

Yeah, I mean Modern in Royal Oak. The flow is decent, but the clover bowl is where it's at (it has a nice roll in too). A weekend 2.5 hour session costs $18, $30 for the day. Have you ever ridden the park in Mason? I hear it's real nice. I skated one with a similar setup in Midland. It was tons of fun. I would definitely like to head out to the E.L. for some garages and the Ranney Park. Once y'all are back from spring break, I am down to make the trek.
