Awesome. I'll get a full face in time, but I am just super stoked on some topmount action. I talked to Jay, finder of Wabeek, and he might be heading down on Saturday too. Major stokage.

    QUOTE]

Jay just called me and we're both in. We'll drive seperate if we have to. My Evo might not be here by then tho . I'm gonna have to throw some randalls on my original. Hopefully my o-freerides will be in and we can all screw around on em.

Not that it matters but Jay heard about wabeek from a longboarder at a skateshop in the area (may have been one of you). He rode it with Alex a few times. Al might have already known about it. Alex told conner where it was if I'm not mistaken.

Rain doesn't mean don't skate... It means slide until your wheels fall off .

Bring a slide setup and we'll spin down the hills. I'd still be willing to DH in the rain as long as the hill is fairly straight.

I might me down friday night. Anyone want to garage ride with us?

Dan, I will just meet you guys there. It is a straight shot north from my house. Unless you maybe wanna ride the park by your place afterwards cause then I will for sure meet at your place.
****ing rain. I may not ride in the rain, but I might be willing to be a shuttle for a fee. We shall see.

Ross, I think we should hit Modern for sure. I will text you my address so you can meet me there on Saturday morn.

I was talking about hitting up the 11 mile park after we shred the clark. But if its raining then modern might be in order. Count me out too if it is rainin, it would be very sketchy on this particular hill ya know?

Do you mean Modern skate park in royal oak? how is the flow there? We are just getting into park skating but if it's a fun park we might make the trek out there sometime to meet up and skate? Or you guys are welcome to come over here. We don't have the DH but we can ride park, slide, and hit garages at night

If Modern costs money you can count me out. I'm definitely down on rain sliding though.

So, let's DH if it's dry/not-very-wet, or slide if it's wet. GET STOKED!

    Balls.

..this michigan weather can seriously bite me right now. It was really nice yesterday and today when I went out. But being a 115 lb girl still means I'm cold as sh*t until I warm up! lol

I'm fine with the Beek. I've never been there, and it's probably a good way to break me in. And I'd LOVE to work on my predrifts. In fact I don't think I ever predrift.

The Road Rages came today. I have this feeling that the board will be here later tonight. Damn you USPS and you're god awful tracking!

EDIT: Is the Beek even close to the spot where we're meeting off of I-75? I Google Earthed and I don't know if what I'm looking at makes sense.

Pete, it is about 25 minutes south of the Clarkston spot. If we are just going to ride the 'beek (due to rain), I see no reason to head out to Clarkston.

The Lime, Lemon and Orange Freerides will be on my porch Friday and my Old Man Army 'fish bag will be here today. Stoked!!!

    Way to stimulate the economy!

So can we come up with a definitive plan? Since I don't know the exact locations, it's hard for me; but here's what I'm thinking.

Fastest and Most Dangerous (read: Fun) Session:
    -Meet at Sashabaw
    -Skate some gnarly C-town runs
-I take you guys to my slopestyle-y C-town run right off of Dixie Hwy.

Play it safe and Conservative way:
-Meet somewhere not as far North as Sashabaw
-Go to the Beek, and skate surrounding areas (if they exist, I don't know all your guys' spots)

Does that sound about right? Which one do you think we'll do?

I say we play it safe and meet at the 'beek. Once we get our feet wet (no pun intended), a decision can be made on whether or not to hit up Clarkston. If we decide to make the journey, we can all pile in one car and save some loot on gas. If not, we can bomb the Brown Street garage in Birmingham and maybe do a little corner sess at Oakland University. How's that for a slice of fried gold?

Mmmmmmm... trans-fats. But that sounds like a deal. I'll be coming and bringing at least 2 friends with, but I don't see anymore coming with.

Maybe I'll bust out the ol' rain wheels... which are for sale with heavily lubed bearings I might add...

Yeah, I mean Modern in Royal Oak. The flow is decent, but the clover bowl is where it's at (it has a nice roll in too). A weekend 2.5 hour session costs $18, $30 for the day. Have you ever ridden the park in Mason? I hear it's real nice. I skated one with a similar setup in Midland. It was tons of fun. I would definitely like to head out to the E.L. for some garages and the Ranney Park. Once y'all are back from spring break, I am down to make the trek.

I hate USPS. SO MUCH. I'm not gonna have my board before break now.

I think I'm going to leave my ID with my friend and have him get my package for me. But that still won't be in time for the 'Beek. Unless you guys wanna shred some gnar next weekend too. =D I'm not doing anything at all this week except for Umphrey's McGee on Thursday night.

It's supposed to be dry, wanna try my spot later this week guys?
