Hey Tags, I'm gonna have to beg to differ and say that we could've busted ass out of that garage so quick on boards. Faster than in the car, that's for sure. But it's fine now so no harm no foul.

And yeah Coletonator, hit us up.

And for the usual crew, I've got at least 3 friends visiting and bringing their boards this weekend so we gotta show them a good time on Friday or Saturday.

I just hit up Coleton and I think we're gonna try to hit some garages tonight. The issue is that I have like 5 friends visiting, 4 of which skate, so I'll see if I can find something for the non-skaters to do.

EDIT: It's looking like tomorrow will be better to skate.

We had a sick midday garage sesh today. We've been teaching a couple cool guys on my floor how to skate and they're super stoked. We ended up having 8 of us, midday, shredding up a garage with no police interruption or much traffic. As soon as Dr. Dadavildy's hardware for his mini gets here we're gonna have some mini races. Who's down?

Just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! to GoGreenLongboarding for kicking ass and taking names, taking FIRST, SECOND, AND THIRD place in the amateur class at the chicago race. Sorry we couldn't make it guys, but glad to see you holding it down (what were your setups btw?)

Thanks Alot Man. Alex was 1st with a pocket pistol and not 100% sure what else. Jason was second with a homemade deck, randal 125's, and lemon/limes. I was third with a homemade deck, tracker rts/rtx 106's, orange zigs/tunnels (More of a TS board but all I had). I'll post some pics tomorrow. Chicago Longboard Society did an awesome job with the event.

Edit: Pro class was amazing. It came down to Harms and Claude Regnier, with Harms taking the win by a hair.

I was running a Pocket Pistols Skates, with a blasphemous setup of randall 150's and ABEC11 grippins. But really, grippins are sweet wheels, I just instinctively feel cautious running anything center set for slalom. I had my front truck at about 55 degrees, rear just under 30. It was a very steep hill for slalom so I basically took my giant slalom board and moved the front truck back to about a 20 inch hybrid type wheelbase. I got lucky and hit the magic setup for the day, and from there I just focused on fundamentals and making the course.

Sounds sweet. The slalom set-up i THOUGHT i was getting (subsonic saint, skennet, rts) looks like the guy is screwing me over so hopefully I can get my money back BUT THEN i'll be in the market for a setup. The deck won't be a problem, I guess i was just wondering whether or not nicer trucks (like skennet/skandal) were needed, but apparently not.
