Michigan Longboarding!

hey guys...you all sound pretty cool and ur all from michigan so thats also way cool. Hey, Im from the GR area (sparta) and need some people to throw down with...I have some pretty sweet spots around my area too that I think people would be interested in( some 25ers and 35ers) nuthing big but yea. So does anyone live near GR or know any good spots. LMK. IM dying to get away from my noobish friends with sector nines thinking there the #### cuzz they can bomb with sidewinders haha.

I think petary and I are going to hit the skatepark later.

But the weather looks like it should be gorgeous this weekend, anyone got plans? I'd love to try and get some slalom in (with my new bushings/wheels) cause i need all the training i can get in before this summer. And i'm going to have to have al teach me how to set a course (cause mine always blow, lol)

If you're ever in the Lansing area just get ahold of one of the Go Green Guys on here. We'd be happy to shred with ya. We'll probably make a GG trip out there to skate so we'll let you know.

Pete/Tags - Are you guys going to be in E.L. this weekend or are yous twos heading to the D area? I may head to Lansing if you're stayin' there. Either way shreddage is in order, if the weather cooperates!!

Hello Fishies. This is my first post. I would just like the #### talking to stop. GGL is all about stoke, sharing, and progressing TOGETHER!!! Everyone on this crew is on it for a reason.I look at everyone on this crew as my brother and anything negative said about anyone that represents Go Green is taken personally. There is no reason to drop a public sewer pickle on the DH thread about us disrespecting "your spot".The incident on the hill was addressed on the hill and I thought was squashed.Dont use that as an excuse to flake out on DH gatherings and keep your "secret spots" to yourselves like preschoolers who dont want to share their G.I. Joes. Get some lighter fluid and burn em up with the rest of the boys.Anyone who skates with GG knows we skate with big fu*ckin smiles and dont step on toes.

In regard to us having a motive to hold sponsered events, Yes there is a motive.
It is to meet other riders,and compete to find out what your made of and find out where you stand at a particular discipline.Everyone at the race seemed to have smiles at the end and was one of the coolest things ive been a part of. Id like to thank the sponsers for their support and for sending everyone home with more stuff than their $10 entry fee could have bought.

For those of you who flaked, I hope to see you trailing me in the race next year.Bring a bandana to block the dust as I will be throwing seven different kinds of smoke!!!

It looks like we're staying up in EL for the weekend. So, bring a park board, bring a slide board, and let's rip #### up. Here's what I'm thinking.

Tonight: Skatepark and possibly local slide hill. Slopestyle and hard wheels baby.
Tomorrow: Maybe skatepark, more than likely slide hill, slalom and/or garages.
Saturday: Skatepark with Dan, slide hill and slopestyle.

Let's get sideways.

Insane garage session tonight. Got my frontside no hand steez on, went really fast into 3 foot wide gaps and learned how to predrift into them without hitting pillars/cars/barricades, finally coleman 180'd into the elevator in Wharton then 180'd out. Good stuff.

I suggest skating on Saturday. We're gonna grab breakfast around 9, skatepark after, then slide hill, dump for some Longboard Hockey and or cruising around the trails, then relax and garage bomb at night.

THis is my first post ever sooo yah, any ways me and my two man crew are from oakland county and if anyone is ever in that area and want to hit up some of the spots we know about hit me up and we go tear up the streets cant wait to skate again, and i was at madness in the mitten race and it was the freakin best time ever even if i did get 4 to last it was still the sweetest thing i have done in a long while thanks again for putting it on GG

We're out that way once in awhile. If you come to Lansing just get ahold of any GG guys on here and we'd be happy to set-up a jam session w/ya. Glad you had a blast at Madness in the Mitten.

Yo man, I live in Lathrup Village (near Southfield). Where you livin? Hit me up any time and we can go shred. There are a few decent spots around worth checking out. I'm heading to East Lansing tomorrow for some skating, let me know if you want to join. Check your PMs.

Yep. look for the MIM edit on monday or tuesday. It'll be a good mix of push racing and sliding. We'll start making actual videos soon after this, but probably a month or so until a new GG is put out. We'll be making a mix of individual and team edits throughout the year 8). Thanks for asking man.

Looks like it should be fun if anyone wants to join me. I'll be living in Indianapolis (indiana what what) and anyone is welcome to spend the night and we can skate since it's like halfway

YESSSS! I've been wanting to go BAAADLY but couldn't talk Jay and Al into it. I may be able to now tho. I'm definitely down if I have the cash. How many hours drive from Indianapolis to St. Louis?

Whenever we're done: Slide hill and slopestyle it up

It takes 3:30 - 4 hours to drive east lansing to indianapolis depending on how fast you like to go, and then it takes 4 more hours to get to st louis.
