You should prime it before you paint it. The lighter and brighter the color, the better to see you with. I may be buying a fullface today. There is a Red Bell Drop for sale in Farmington at the bike shop.
Ross, what day are you going out to the Gnark? I was thinking about shooting out to Milford and riding some of the hills out that way this weekend at some point. Traffic out there is usually not a problem no matter what time of day.

Re: Michigan Longboarding!
Alright so i have some questions hopefully some peeps can answer them for me,i have a pair of randal 180s that came with my arbor longboard, they are the 50 degree base plate, is that a good truck for dh, cause i have a cindrich screamer and i want to set it up with a good set of trucks and see how that things responds with some speed so i would really appreciate some feed back thanks.

Re: Michigan Longboarding!
having stood on a cindrich, its weird, i feel way more locked in than on a board with grip. its really weird. but yeah go for randals, don't worry about flipping them (i've found flipped randals to be a bit restrictive more than stable) but if you need to just tighten them down a bit. you should be fine.

Re: Michigan Longboarding!
So... would anyone be down for a soft wheel slide comp? Have two hills by my house that would be decent. In no way are they insanely steep, but its more of an exuse to get together and skate

Why does it have to be a soft wheel comp? What about Slide A wheels?
