Re: Michigan Longboarding!
We've been having weekly sesh's in Brighton at island lake. I met a few people that work at summit sports that wanna come out and sesh with us too. We have like two big downhills, both that are excellent for sliding, one with a sharp 90' turn to the left down into a parking lot, and tons more hills throughout the entire area. There is one a little farther down the road that was literally the fastest I've been on a skateboard.
Also various other sweet runs around the area, though smaller.
When do you lansing peeps skate? I'm up there from time to time, probably gonna come out on weds, though I'll be riding my bike and don't have a rack set up..

Anyone down on a FREE Modern Sesh on Sunday in the name of Go Skateboarding Day? And what about Clarkston on Saturday? I still have the weekend off of work so let's use it up.
I may be able to ride on Saturday depending on what I have to do for my pops. He has a gig at 7pm and I agreed to be his roadie. I think that wont be until later in the day around dinnertime. Free skating at Modern would be the biggest mess of skaters ever, I am definitely not going there Sunday. I would love to rip on Go Skate/Father's day if I have time. I'm heading out to Clarkston in the afternoon for a family gathering at my aunt's house. She lives about 5 min away from the spot. Why don't we rip there on Sunday morning or evening? It would probably be pretty dead as soon as the churchgoers are up and out.
Have fun and kill the competition at Wigglewars.

Re: Michigan Longboarding!
Maybe 6pm or so on Sunday evening. I would be down to ride the Gnark on Saturday morning if anyone else wants to go. We could probably hit Riley Skate Park, it is open for PLUS Skate Camps this week and I got the ok to ride the bowls all week anytime. I seriously think we should go there rather than to Modern. Everyone thinks Riley is opening on the 29th, so there shouldn't be many people there.

I did post at that time. I don't sleep during the night anymore. I just sit and lurk silverfish because for some reason I'm attracted to this site again.

Re: Michigan Longboarding!
I say we head to Riley tomorrow night after dark and we could rip a flashlight session. That would be so much fun. Maybe even strategically place some glowsticks so that we can ride in the dark but see where we want to go. Totally sketchy meets gnarninja style.
Saturday I am free until about 1pm. If it rains, I would be down for an early ride at Modern. Sunday I am definitely riding Gnarkston. I would prefer to ride there early rather than late, probably less traffic.
