I'm going up to Marquette on May 17th to play a show with my band. Definitely will be doing some skating as well while i'm there.

I'm from Grosse Pointe here. There's some great little hills that me and my gang really enjoy bombing. I'm mostly a commuter though.

This fall I'll be up at Michigan State University cruising around. See ya there?!

howdy yall, i just got back from the Galloup Guitar School of Lutherie in Big Rapids, Mi. Its prety much right down the road from Ferris. Anyway, i found some pretty rad hills out there. Just basically pick a back road and start driving. there is just rolling hill after rolling hill of decent pavement, some better than others. I will post pics when i get them developed, (yes i used a film camera). Its just hilarious to be bombing a hill between two corn fields, but nice rides none the less, real good for a beginner and some steep ones for the hardcore guy. Just thought id throw that out there for yall to put in your back pocket.

Anybody been scouting new runs lately? I have been on Google earth for hours, found one promising downhill run. Can get frustrating because of the lack of hills.

    Post your favorite downhill runs!

    thanks

Cool, I grew up in SJ. According to Facebook you're friends with Dave Lodyga, who I was buds with in HS. How's SJ for longboarding? Haven't had a chance to check it out while I've had a board...

Its at the corner of Willits St. and Ring Rd. Shoot east down Willits. It's short but sweet. You can also hit Greenwood St. and hang a quick right onto Willits. Both are decent for the area.
