I currently live in Poulsbo, WA but I am going to school in Oregon in September. I will be living in the dorms at OSU and going to school at Linn-Benton Community College (part of the dual partnership program). So I will be in Linn and Benton county..Corvallis and Albany. Anyone live in that area? Know any good skating spots, anyone I can skate with?

 Yeah yeah, screw you too pal. Teach a man to fish...

Corvallis is flat for the most part. Ya have to cruise a little north to see anything worth while. Neighborhoods North of Walnut Blvd are pretty fun. Lester Avenue by Chip Ross Park is a good carving spot, and there's little to no traffic up there. PM me if you want other directions...
There's a ton of longboarders in Oregon. Pauliwog ( Paul Howard) lives in Corvalis, but he mostly does slalom, and parks. A good way to meet more folks in Oregon is at the Salem Slalom Jam in October. You can sign up here-
Even if your not into slalom, you can still carve the hill, hang out , meet folks, and eat BBQ.The last event had 70 people sign up, but more like 100 showed up and skated.
If your from Poulsbo, talk to Sherpa,GnarDog, and the Bremerton crew, they'll tell you how much fun the 1st Salem event was this year.
Dude I go to OSU. There are a few good beginner hills, and a whole lot of concrete between wherever you need to go on campus. There's a parking garage near the stadium that my friends and I have tried. I'm still a beginner with an S9, but my friend just got a Kracked Skulls board and we have aspirations of being hardcore. Keep in touch- Corvallis is in a hilly part of the Willamette Valley and there are plenty of good runs to be found.
it would be really really smart to go to the salem jam, you'll meet basically everyone that skates on the west coast there. as for me, i live in grants pass, which is about 4 hours south of you. talk to brian (el beefo) for k-town riders.
