Iowa?

Any Iowa kids on here? As far as I know it is just myself and about 8 of my friends who longboard in eastern Iowa. Anybody else shred it up?

What's up dude? There are boarders out there. I used to live near Waterloo for 26 years then I moved to NYC two years ago. I was able to get some homies into cruising and bombing back in the day but sadly they would rather play halo then rip a sick hill. Hang in there and I'm sure more will come out of the woodwork.

Hey man, me and some of my friends just got into longboarding about a year ago. Now there are 6 of us that board. We're over in central iowa near des moines.

I'm from Dubuque and currently go to school in Ames. The Mines of Spain has a few great runs and the pavement is smooth. There are also some great hills around Senior High School that are great for carving.

A small group is planning to push the Prairie Farmer Trail on Sunday or Monday of Memorial Day weekend. Anyone already pushed this one?

How's it going all?

Just got settled in at Cornell College in Mt. Vernon Iowa. Looking for some guys to spread the stoke with before the snow comes. I've been scoping out the area and there's some wicked hills, and nearby we got the palisades and a bunch of parks scattered by Iowa City and Cedar Rapids with some clean trails.

BTW... the best hills in the iowa city area are out prairie du chien road and sugar bottom road. just a tip, the nice downhill smooth carve into sugar bottom disc golf course is amazing.

Hey,, iowa city here too. Man the hills around here are def not downtown... head out prairie du chien road and go out towards sugar bottom. not very long hills, but way bigger than in town. i road trip to the mississippi sometimes too, thats where the big ones hide out. State parks are the way to go.

I'm originally from Sioux City and went to school in Ames. Sioux City has a slew of epic hills, and Ames is legit if you know where to go. Ill be in Ames / Des Moines shredding this weekend.....everyone in town should hit the streets
