Hey Sniff, What kind of ultrasonic cleaner do you have? I'm thinking about an L&R or a Branson. Something with some torque. Just missed a deal on Ebay for a 55watt L&R for $41. I was out running TS cones and forgot about it! I'm really loving that GOG board. Have you spent much time on the cherry lately? Any possibilty of skating together anytime soon?

We might be able to get something up. I'm hoping to get a session going with one of the guys here in town soon. So I'll let you know when that is happening.
My finances are a little worse than I thought so I am grounded right now. No travel or spending until I get caught back up. Good thing I'm working all the over time right now.
I hit the Cherry up yesterday. My hill by my house is back in shape so I set up a good hybrid course on it. I was running it with my wheelbase at the max with my Skennett/Airflow combo on it. Even better. That Airflow rear gives you so much traction in the rear. It's great. I hope to get more cone time in this week. Maybe some downhill cruising. Wish I could hit up the park. I could use a little transition action right now. I watched the Dew Action Sports thing all weekend and the Maloof contest. So now I want to skate some ramps. That Maloof contest was maybe the best street contest I have ever seen.

If not this weekend then next for more skate action.

I'm thinking anytime this weekend. I may have to work some on Saturday but any time after 2 I'm free to go. Sunday is all good.

I'm down with the mtn biking. I way out of shape right now and my shifter is broke. Other than that I am so down.

I also got the kayak thing going.

and rock climbing.

The slalom spot by my house still needs a little sweeping but it is rocking. I now have the Cherry going on full tilt. That board is now perfect.....for now.

Saturday is out, but Sunday looks pretty good. Probably noonish. I need the practice. Been spending all my free time this past week or so biking. Will know later in the week.

As usual. My weekend plans are all up in the air.
The wife is now STAYING in town. I have overtime work I have to do on Saturday morning. I have been told we are painting a couple rooms in the house. I have a top secret job I have to do sometime this weekend. It could rain and it's going to be hot as hell all weekend.
Yes I will skate but I couldn't tell you where or when.

Next weekend it is. Just walking out the door to try something . GOG with 75mm in heats up front with 70mm 4presidents on the rear. Not enough clearance for the in heats on the roadster because of the rad fronts. Check with ya later to give ya a full report.

That setup is pretty smokin'. The park by my house is about 2miles around a lake so I did that a few times pumping. I was soaked! I like that kinda workout sometimes but boy, it was 88 and humid. Anyway, those Orangatangs are like superballs. The 75s are really offset so they grip like mad.

I checked and it said mid 80's. Still not bad. Although the first part of the week is going to be super hot and then comes the rain and strong storms. Just as long as that all passes before the weekend. I may have another guy come out skating with us that weekend as well.

I also may be sporting some new trucks by then. shhhh.

today's ride was epic.
We started with a little tight slalom. I was sucking. Bobby T was whipping my butt.
Then we moved on to downhill. Bobby is still faster than me but I am improving again. Good rides. I clocked Bobby at 32mph.
Then back to cones. We set up a tough little GS/Hybrid. That course was fun and fast. You'd start on a steep hill and then go into a right hand turn. By time you hit the turn you were at top speed for the course. That made things every hard. Drift around cones and flying through a center set section that felt tight but wasn't. Then into a killer offset section and on to the tight up hill pump fest. 47 cones total. Great ride.
