You can park at either the top or the bottom of that hill. Seems to be little traffic at all on that road. It's not as steep as the others and thus a good place to start on these windy little roads. It should be a good one. Long walk back up. If you can con someone into being a taxi service, do it.

May 9th I have to work. Safty training. So I won't be able to skate until like late that afternoon on Saturday. The weekend after that my folks are coming up for the weekend.

That car sounds sweet. Seems I know a lot of people that own Audis. Super nice cars.

I'm still going to try and skate this weekend.

It's not as long as Sprickert but it's still a long walk.

So it's raining. Just enough to be annoying. I was going to grill out tonight, I got some nice steaks, but it's raining and super windy. So maybe not.

If the rain doesn't go away, my weekend is going to consist of Franky and Annette films and me grilling in the rain. I got pork loin and ribs. Slow cooked with a dry rub. I may save the steak for tomorrow and do a whole surf and turf.

I think you better count on several runs of Beach Blanket Bingo this weekend.

I've got the whole box set. I'll be watching them all and Gidget too I think. Maybe a couple good surf videos and some skate videos. Oh and horse racing. Put your money on a good mudder this year.

Bill, I have one or two hills scoped out for you. You'll have to deal with some turns and one might not be quite as wide as you would like but they are steep. I may have to set up a slide board and join you on one or two of those.

Maybe this is a good weekend to build a board.

Was sure this weekend would be a washout...

Mother Nature smiled down upon me...and stopped the rain long enough to dry my main runway.

Managed to squeeze off 10 rippers between 4-5 pm today. 8)

Rain should start again any minute.

    Jeremy:
I'd like to come check out the runs you found and see the S-IN runs (Barrel and Spickert) sometime.

How are Anette and Frankie doin...

For a good surf vid, check out "Step into Liquid." More about riding footage than story/acting.
Some surf cult classics would be "Point Break", "Endless Summer", and "North Shore."
I have all of these...may have to watch one.

If you're ever up this way I'll take you out to show you those hills. Sadly they are pretty much all two lane roads with no shoulders. You'll have to carve them tight.

I watched Muscle Beach Party last night and may move on to How to Stuff a Wild Bikini or Beach Blanket Bingo tonight. I did Point Break and Riding Giants last weekend. I haven't watched Step Into Liquid in a while. I need to get Ride the Wild Surf. I don't know why I like those surf exploitation films like I do.

The rain ended this morning and most uncovered roads are dry. Too bad I'm all sore for some reason. Maybe it's that Wii Fit that my wife bought? I was trying to out do her on it. I may have over done it. ???
But I have some ribs on the grill and they smell good. Looking forward to eat those.

I think now that the Derby is over, it's time drag out some skate video. That Timeship Racing vid is pretty good. Or maybe I'll go skate after I eat those ribs. If I can move.

This is one of those days where it either needs to 4ucking rain or not 4ucking rain!
It rained this morning. Then the sun came out and the streets dried. So I loaded the boards to go skate or started too and the rain returned. Only it was just an annoying sprinkle. Every time I attempted to actually go skate it would increase and when I would give up and do something else it would slack off. The roads never really got wet again until I decided to ride anyway. Then it picked up enough to keep the roads wet. So I bought some DVDs and a few CDs and just sat at home being a lump. Finally got the "Louisville is for Lovers" compilation CD. Good stuff.
Forecast shows rain everyday but Tuesday. I have a date with the wife on Tuesday. Going to go see Alien Trespass. We love those 50's B SciFi movies. This should be great.

    ALRIGHT LOUISVILLE!
    Who's up for some riding?
I've seen a number of you guys posting on here. It's time to get out and skate. Tell me what you are comfortable with and we'll find a hill to skate. Bring friends along and I'll bring loaner boards and we'll all ride. Name the place.
    OR
If you are serious for some serious downhill, me and bobby t have some places scoped out to try thanks to PU and a few weekend scouting sessions. It's time to get serious.
    AND/OR
We always have slalom. Again I have loaner boards. A session could happen anytime. Just say the word.

I'm thinking last weekend in May. Who's down for some downhill?

Can't make it for May. Too close to my trip to Kauai. Don't want to risk damaging myselft before then -- gotta paddle out.

Count me in for an Octoboard-Fest Jam though.

With all the talk of surf flicks here, I decided to rent Surfer Dude this weekend ($2.11 for one night).

It was a stoke kill. Video stores don't give refunds for BAD movies. Even the topless bimbos were gratuitous filler.

If it comes to television, change to the Discovery Channel or Animal Planet.

The wife is hosting a Mary Kay party on Sunday. I have to escape the house. So I'm thinking about going skating....or taking the kayak out.

Bobby have they finished paving your roads yet????

Oh I forgot to mention this.
Today I went out for a little after work ride around my house. I head over to the one street that has a decent hill. There are two kids at the start of the road. They see me first and I can hear them excitedly talking. I couldn't hear about what. As I got closer I could see these kids where on skateboards. Short boards of course. So as I walk past them I say "how's it going guy/" and I put down my board and ride off. I can hear them following. So I push a little harder. I hear them trying to keep up. So I push again. I'm just waiting to see if they try and follow me down the hill. I get to the top of the hill and I poor on the pushing for speed. I cruise down that hill at a decent pace. The wheels I'm riding on that board are a bit slow. I don't hear the boys following anymore. So I reach the bottom of the hill and walk up the other side to make my return ride. I see them up at the top waiting. So I walk back up to do it again. They ask me were I got my board and what kind it is and they tell me how fast I am. I tell them I've been faster. I go to do it again and hope to inspire one of them to try my board. But they go in before I make it to the bottom. Maybe next time.

Well , today is my birthday and spent most of the day working on a HUGE slider for the wakeboard park. A two level twenty five/thirty foot box rail! KILL. It's 10:35 right now and am heading out for an all night wake sesh in the dark. A handful of the best pro riders on the planet are in town for the grand opening tomorrow, although we've all been riding for the past couple of weeks. We're gonna board all nite! Post pics when I get a chance.

And to top it all off, these guys are helping me out with a little sponsorship deal. You guys hafta come up and check this out. Check out wakenation.com. There are only six other parks in the country and this one is by far the best. And it's three miles from my house. I'll fill you guys in on all the details soon. But right now........gotta jet.
