Weather looks to be iffy this weekend my friend. Hows about if we cant skate we order some pizza and play some music and oogle our vast assortment of longboards. Then we can tell stories about the good ole days before Global warming and rising gas prices killed any and all aspirations of a good skate session...IM IN!

Your on. I want to try some from Oak Street Pizza. A lot of buzz on that place and it sounds like my kind of pizza. Only I don't think they are open on sunday.

My slalom hill is totally exposed. No shade at all. Bad for summer but right now if the sun comes out it could melt away the snow for us. Fingers crossed and alternative plans being made just in case. I'm thinking a tour of the skateshops is in order this weekend.

Latest weather forcast. Snow, sleet and freezing rain over the couple of days. 5"-10" is being thrown out there by saturday. Heck! Maybe we should go sledding or snowboarding over at Paoli. Although Paoli costs money. Sledding it is then?

sledding friday night might be an option. Have you ever been to spinellis pizza mmmmm its a good little local owned pizza shop on bardstown road. Never heard of oak street pizza though must be good. I could be down for a skateshop tour the last time i was in home they had some gravity products i wonder if they have upped their stock yet...prolly not.

Im pretty sure on the fact we are not gonna skate this weekend unless we take the trucks off the boards and put a little wax on it and sled through the foot of snow about ready to incapacitate this city of ours. Call me man we will figure something out.

10-14" of snow by saturday afternoon. The roads are all slushy. I don't own a sled. No skating this weekend.

I don't have the money to hit the slopes this weekend. I'm sure they are covered anyway. I guess there is always next weekend for the skating.

The sun is out and the snow is melting pretty quick. At this rate the 12" won't be around long. Oh if only my slalom road would melt clean and dry up by tomorrow. It's a pipe dream I know.

Todays ride sucked. For no particular reason but it just did. The air was a bit colder or something. I was all stiff and the boards weren't reacting right. Mostly ran slalom. Did scope out a few new hills. All but one was not worth the gas. Did find a parking lot area that has promise. Drop levels. The downside is the bottom level the pavement is a bit rough. It's all about big and soft on the wheels on that ride.

Just watch here. I try and post most of my riding plans so others can join in if they want or can.

Speaking of which. I am going to try and skate during the day on Good Friday and Saturday evening and maybe Sunday. Slalom, maybe some park and some cruising. Weather permitting.

Last week end in March is a skate weekend. I've got the whole weekend to skate.

    Okay. Well try this again.
Skate this weekend. IF it doesn't rain or SNOW again.
Looking at doing some slalom (tight and hybrid) and maybe some downhill cruising and carving.
My ankle is a bit tweaked so no sliding for me.

    Great session this weekend.
TO BAD IT WAS SOLO AS ALWAYS.

I got out and cruised a few hills. Then I went out and set up a great hybrid slalom course and ran that until the light faded. I ran all kinds of boards and tinkered with set ups. That was only saturday.

Sunday once the rain dried up, I just headed out the door and skated the neighborhoods. I was surfing a couple of good roads. Just tight carvin and smooth stylin'. Really testing out the drift in the Fish Balls.

SO. Next weekend. Who's in. The weather is getting nicer. It's time to skate. Saturday or Sunday? Just say the word.

    That was a good session.
I think I got that course perfected. A good mix of everything. You got it wired and kept getting faster. It's great that they have the street lights now. That means evening sessions and night sessions.
That Chicken LTD is a great board. I knew you'd fall in love with that one when you rode it.

Next weekend for sure! Forget Thunder, come skate my hill.
