Come on out! There will be plenty of time just to skate. Lots of hills to run.

That hill in the photo is deceptive. I got on it thinking I'd just cruise it and it'd be nothing. By time I got to the bottom I was thinking I was heading to the emergency room. Not the hill for 104mm trucks. Although I never got any speed wobbles. The good thing is as you go around the corner at the bottom you start going back up hill. The down side is there is an intersection there. That hill was way more fun than I gave it credit for. I just needed to bring the right tools for that job.

Here is another pic of a hill not far from there. There is a heck of a bump at the bottom when you hit the bridge. You have to hit the sweet spot or it's really rough. The back side is a good ride too.

I'll do my best to make it to the Outlaw Rally with my mountainboard street quiver. My biggest problem is that I'm on Central time. So I'll have to be on the highway no later than 6:00 am June 1 to make it to Louisville by 10:00 am.

Will thar be fiddles and a jug?

How will I find y'all fellers?

I'll give you some directions as we get closer to th date.
And take your time. We plan to be at that hill until 1pm.
Hope you can make it. If not I hope to have more organized rides in the future. I'll keep you posted.

Okay directions to the race hill are up in the slalom forum. I'll post the directins to the alternate hill later.

I got some new trucks and my downhill fire has been burning again. I got some new Bennett 6.0's. They don't scream downhil per say but for my heavy carving surf style they should make me happy. Although I do have a new downhill ride set up and raring to go as well. Soon I should be able to work my courage back up and be ready to tackle my secret hill. Long, windy, steep and traffic.....oh and no shoulder.

I'm stoked. Got all my tires dialed in to the precise air pressure. Set up one mountainboard as a speed board (50 psi) with slightly tighter shocks. Even decided to bring the RTR 2-wheel.

Now all I have to do is load the quiver into my car tonight and get up no later than 5:30 am CDT and I'm set.

Edit: Things were looking pretty dicey when my son totaled his mother's car in Paducah last night at 1:00 am (1:30 am to 9:00 am at the ER). He got tossed around pretty good but is still in one piece.

Good times! Nice to drop out of cyber-reality and meet and speak with living, breathing beings in real time. Great meeting and riding with a small group and telling tall tales. These little Convergences are good fun.

We need to have some Autumn rallies this year on cool afternoons/evenings.

    Very nice event Sniff.

I hope to see those of you who were in attendance lurking around here at Fish.

PS: Still looking for that epic asphalt.

BobbyT -- great to meet me you, especially on your 48th. You have as much energy as a 16-year-old and it was only 3 weeks after your knee surgery. You are one radical dude. Rippin' & trippin'!

Evan, the Daves, and Sniff -- great crew.

I'm Ready to make the "big drop" when you are (55 and still alive).

Hey you guys. I'm looking for the lone Dave's email. Like to have all the contacts if possible.

Boy, time flies. I stand way corrected there Surfer Joe. Looking at the calender, that knee surgery was over a month ago.......like five weeks!! Still all good. Feels great and pretty good recovery time all in all.

    Thanks again to ALL

3 weeks, 5 weeks, are you kidding? That's still awfully quick to be blasting through a bunch of slalom cones at 27 mph if you ask me.

I used the e-mail that Dave & Son had for you and it bounced back at me. Don't have one for Lone Dave either. Would like to have it especially since he said something about a Super G in NC. Would like to have everybody's e-mail too if someone has them?

Hard times call for hard measures.
I have to offset all the gas I went through finding that hill.

The idea is being tossed around to maybe try and do another outlaw thing out at Long Run. I'm thinking GS this time with a way longer course. Feel free to throw in your 2 cents.

Perfect venue. Off to school I go. Like I said before, would love to make this a regular thing.

There are all kinds of possiblities there @ Long Run, that's for sure.
