Cool Re: 08 Michigan

DUUUUUUUUUUUUDE i hit Pomona and Redoak today

I'd rate it on my Eye Phly tank on a scale of 1-10 at a 3-4...... If you had a speed board you could hit some pretty goods speeds, maybe 35ish. I did a few different combinations of the other roads dropping onto Redoak........

It is vary carveable, just get as much speed as possible right off the bat

Every cage (car) operator waved or gave the thumbs up

I'll hit them again on Wed afternoon weather permitting

Okay heres the google map ish link Google Maps

I'll meet you dudes at the corner of Pomona and Loyola just off Miller at 3:30 tomorrow. get there early and drive around looking at Pomona, Redoak (the following dump onto redoak), Vesper, Bending, Robin is slidable, Bydding onto Minor, ........ Daniel is new pavement....

Its nothing like huuuuuuuuge hills but its the best around here....... I did a few runs today after I talked with Doors, had a decent time other than the wind slowed me down a tad bit on my tank.........

Somebody bring a laptop for down loading a SB chip with vids........

Ann Arbor. look back to my 7:30ish post for details.........

Yeah Doors I think you'll be a tad refreshed after tommorow afternoon.

I'm really interested in riding store bought decks and comparing them on real hills...... redbellies our local 'pimp skate shop' has demo boards to ride in their parking lot...... but its not the same as ripping a hill.

Western NY huh? Thanks for the advice. I'll have to scope it out on Google Earth.

Teddy, you should definitely come up to Toronto some time. The board meeting happens at the end of every summer. It's a mass city bomb through the heart of Toronto. Last year there were over 300 skaters from all walks...

There will also be a few outlaw DH races this year in and around the Toronto area. It'd be rad to get some of you guys out. I'm sure we could arrange places to crash and transportation for ya if you got yourself here.

Wheels down, heads up!

No doubt I had a great time today, met 3 nice dudes. Very talented on the slide boards for sure

Kinda still dirty from the winter road conditons but man It was a fun time.

All the pedestrians and car drivers were cool about it.

I'll be making my own speed boards and have Alex do a set-up with trucks etc......... I'll have to step up my learning curve though

I can't wait to hit some huuuuuuuuuge hills this spring and summer

Yo doc you'da been tripping
