nah,i'm not gonna be here for the summer. hit up presque isle park for some good DH/slide action, anywhere along fair ave. west of campus, or there are somegood slide hills right in town...pm me if you want specificspots, but i doubt you'll need my help if you get out and drive around

alright everyone, looks like tomorrow is going to be a skate day for us in Lansing. If you can make it out any time between noon-dark, send me a PM and i'll give more details. There should be a photographer coming out as well.

I don't know how many people are coming out yet (could be a couple, could be a lot) but we should be skating a minimum of 2 hills and a parking garage if people stay late, along with a distance ride if everyone is down. Depending on who shows up, it's looking good for a friendly slide contest, S.K.A.T.E. style (slide matching elimination goodness!).

weather should be high 40's and sunny, with mild tailwinds.

yesterdays session was a blast, had about 6 people at the chill hill, 4 person slide jam, and then a couple of us went on a distance skate/parking garage session. The photographer was present for the chill hill and slide jam.

Looks like we'll be doing it all over again on sunday, and the photographer should be hauling out the video camera this time (she took a TON of hi-res snapshots yesterday, and some audio too). If you've got any way to make it to lansing this sunday, post up or PM me and I'll give you the info. should be about the same routine as yesterday.

Man I had a short session today with that killer tailwind........... Ran my locally close hill.... was able to just freeking phly.............. I was able to add another 200 feet to the start of the run, and since the tail wind was above 10mph it added another fast rip across the parking lot at the end....... into the next little lot.....

then they ask how fast I have skitched, and skitch away...Lame.
I'll be out there soon dude. I don't have a car though, so its up to the days my dad wants to drive me.

big ten burrito is RIGHT by the "hampster cage" parking garage in east lansing (like across the alley) , one of the best ramps to skate around here.

I'm probably heading down toward novi today to scope out these new hills, supposedly steep and smooth. if they are how they should be, I'll let you guys know where they are. (edit, they're sweet, but high "blow out" risk. I'll take people with though)
