My wife went there for a while and you better learn to pump. That is some of the flattest land I have seen. Now that I think of it though, you could pump through that whole town if you wanted.
I'm in Toledo and have been looking for people to ride w/, b/c of school i'm actually all over the state, from Toledo to northeastern ohio/cleveland area, to southern ohio (Chillicothe). This whole area is incredibly flat, atleast we have a couple of parking garages here at UT.
Yo Rocketman we will have some sessions up in Ann Arbor when it gets warmer and dryer out.... your more than welcome to make a short road trip to rip a few hills in the .5-1.0 mile length
i have a small crew at kent state university. its all snowy here now and probably for the next few weeks to a month. but as it gets nicer we skate almost everyday. there are a few good hills in the area. nothing great, but the trails by the river are chill. there is somehow a 17% grade insane hill that you can get a crapton of speed for 5 seconds if you guys like that kind of stuff. its fun. the longest that ive found is about a 2 minute ride and max speed of maybe 25 mph. oh well. we're here if anyones up for a road trip.
I go to school in Indiana but I'm from Ottawa, OH which is about 45min/1hr south of BGSU so maybe we could get together on a weekend sometime and figure out how to make the most of the flattest region in the state (stupid glacier =P)
To deal w/ flatness I've been considering 2 ideas
1. Take up sliding, seeing as the hill doesn't have to be that big and you can do it fairly safely by yourself.
2. Build a long board paddle. (can't drop $150 kahuna wants for one)
