Im going to be in chicago for the first week in July, is there any chill places to cruise around? And if anyone is going to be in the area of Chicago at that time let me know. I live in MA.

i dont know where your going to be in chicago but the lake front trails are pretty cool and if you hop on the metra bnsf out to hinsdale there are a lot of hills around there. if you can get out to lemont thats the longboard place to be... tons of hills. but yeah you can cruise all around the city. soldier field is a pretty cool spot to. theres a massive ramp. there are alot of cool little spots around the museum campus.
Where in Lemont, I might want to take the Metra out there if it is good riding. Although the times on the Metra to Lemont sucks, and no weekends. Wish I had a car for times like this, although there really is no point in the city.
Hooray for the CTA.
Im from Lemont, and its defiantly a goldmine. If you get off the metra station, just head up the hill (state street), opposite the bridge. Let me know if you plan on coming out, ill let u know all the sweet streets.

Lemont for sure, the most fun I had was around the museum campus, (security are dicks at the Field Museum) Had some great seshes at Soldier Field and Millenium park, great architecture (Gerhy's amphitheater) and art. Michigan Ave after midnight is surreal, give a try if you can. Remember, the CTA is the only way, The red in to Addison will get you to Wrigleyville, really cool place to be. I heard there are some good spots around the field.
P.S. Avoid the waterfront promenades/walks, unless your willing to swim lake Michigan for your deck.

Hey brother. it sound like you want to get into LDP. That's long distance pumping. You can travel for miles without putting your foot down and it's awesome for a core workout. The pounds will fly off. Check this site out. www.pavedwave.org. It will tell you everything you need to know. If you have any questions of need help choosing or dialing a board let me know. I also have another LDP setup if you'd like to give it a try. Justin
