Anyone here every skate downtown Detroit? It looks like it has a lot of potential, but I wouldn't really want to go down there without a group of people.
Yesterday, my friends and I went to the Red Bull Air Races (canceled as soon as we got there.) I knew we were going to be parking far away so I brought my board. Going down the hill at Beaubian east of Jefferson is a good time!

Don't worry man, I always do downtown. But I live in Grosse Pointe, pretty much 7 Mile and Jefferson. Motown getogether anyone? Grosse Pointe has some sweet hills and I'm on summer vaca so maybe we can meet up sometime with some other Fishers.

A friend and I went to the "D" a couple weeks ago and skated pretty much every garage possible. A lot of them are closed to the public, but you can scoot in when a car is entering or leaving. We ripped for a solid 3 hours and only heard "You can't do that here" twice. It was a blast. The spiral ramp out of the Cobo garage is calling my name so that's what's up for next time.

Hit me up next time man. I'll be back in town on the 12th, and I'd love to hit up some D-Town garages.

I don't know why people are talking about carrying weapons and #### in downtown. It's one of the safest areas of Detroit. As far as places to skate, there aint many worth the time.
yeah next weekend. December 6 and/or 7th. Where we all can meet is debatable. Everyone is welcome and the more the merrier. Lets just cross our fingers for no snow! Confirm your appearance by reply on this page, just to have an idea on how many were gonna run.
D skate+pink randals or purple o'tangs= Major thug life in the D with no issues of recognizing your bad-assness. Lol yeah I know form experience!
