Ann Arbor sessions

Yo DH dudes this thread is for the peeps that skate A2 or very close to A2!

This will keep us locals in our loop of whats shaking.

Theres a open skate June 21st at Sun & Snow in A2....... free food, free music, free mini ramps/rails etc....

Check out a2skatepark for the details.......

Some sessions happen Wed after noons at 1pm up on Pomona and surrounding streets, theres another sweet spot north and west across M-14 off Newport.......

One last edit: I buy 90% of my skate stuff from Launch Board Shop, in Ann Arbor, on South University street. They will order just about anything for me. They go out of their way to keep stuff LOCAL!!!! They don't know much about DH but DO NOT DISS this aspect of skating!

I'm over in 1 city north of Detroit, and I'm thinking about heading over to Ann Arbor for a day trip this summer. Do you guys have any sort of all day skate thing planned? Or a big session at least? When my Mosquito comes I'll head over.

Haha, I walked in there once but got uncomfy because there were like 15 kids talking at once, and I walked in the middle of a conversation.

Hey A2 crew. I'll be heading over to Ann Arbor October 17th-19th, so anybody wanna skate? It would have to be night sessions because I'll be at the Chapman Stick Seminar during the days. Let me know what you think.

Man I see about 30 longboarders a day here. I'd expect waaaay more UoM people on SF.

I'm pretty bad and I ride an oldish beatup Sector9 with Gullwing Alpines and some Arbor wheels, but I'm down to skate if anyone's around (and maybe get some upgrades to tide me over until my Mermaid shows up).

Hey man I live in Ann Arbor (freshy at U of M) and the cemetery right across the street from my house is amazing.

And have you gone to the skate shop up by North Campus?

i saw a sign on main by all the fancy restaurants/shops that said no skateboarding but it's the only one i've seen (and nobody's bothered me about it).
