Planning a 500 Mile Skateboard Odyssey up the West Coast of Michigan
I was watching some internet videos (with adam C) and I saw a little bit about "BetterthanWalkinEurope," where a boarder skated all across the UK, France, Switzerland, Italy, and Spain... and this inspires me to do something.
Since I am a pro guitar player, I don't really need a summer job, so taking lots of time off isn't a bad thing for my college budget; instead, I want to skate from Benton Harbor, Michigan all the way across the Mackinac Bridge and into the UP... and maybe even up into Sault St. Marie in June of '09.
I think it would be fun, and I might even be able to make a movie out of it.

hey if youre looking for someone to ride with ill join you. Ive been wanting to do something like this ever since i saw the skate arcoss the us video from loaded. right now im over in Grosse Pointe but im goin to school at western next year.

Awesome dude - I'm thinking 2-3 people would be perfect (we'll start in St. Joseph, MI).
I contacted Loaded the other day and they said that they would be willing to help in anyway possible. Hope that means free dervishes.

you got aim or facebook or anything like that? a free dervish would be nice but for this im thinking a LBL pusher would be perfect. if we start planing this now we could definetly be ready for the skate in june next summer.

The more I think about this the more I'm thinking I'd like to hop on. Cardan and I are in the same skate crew and we've talked a bit. How many days do you think this would take? What would it entail in reality?
