MN Longboard Crew Meet #3

General Info: If you haven't been able to make it to any of the other meets, this one is definitely one you should come to. The run is over a mile long and is one of the best in Minnesota. I will be out of town next week so you might not receive a reminder email about the meet so mark your calenders asap.

If you have a camera and would like to document this meet, please do so and email me the pics.

there is some potential for some sick hills down that way, not sure if i am there yet or not, but i am thinking i have to go just because it would be super BA!

I would definitely recommend everyone going. Everyone I've talked to about this run says it's amazing. Plus, you'll be riding with a big group so probably taking turns giving rides = no walking

Just back from vacation. Missed #2 but will plan to make #3. I will bring a camera and a tripod. I also have a handheld video camera I will bring.

I'll be there, I've scouted this hill and it looks absolutely killer. It should be good for both carving and speed, I'm stoked.

How rediculous is this hill? Few buddies of mine arent sure if they are experienced enough for it. I'm guessing its pretty intense?

i think that i will be there, not 100% yet, depends on the level of hangover i got at the time, but there is nothing else holding me back, excited to be there!

well the first run i went down it i had my trucks waaaay too loose and i couldnt tuck at all so i was going like 25-30. after i tightened up my trucks a bit i was hitting around 40ish. it is a very carveable hill so you dont have to go fast. it can be quite busy though so i am going to strongly recommend a follow/pacecar just to keep the drivers that are a$$holes from killing us.
all in all it is an amazing hill all you need to know

Remember we live in Minnesota,(oh sorry I had to remind everyone )so the hills are hills not mountains.That being said everyone's " experience" level is different .The only way to get experience of course is to do it the best you can.Skating long board is fun .When it is 20 F+++ing degrees in February you will have this cool"experience" to look back on to keep ya warm.Be nice to drivers, wave, smile, and give them room.Some guy on a cell to the police can ruin the day.See ya there.
