I'm currently on I-94 westbound heading to Chicago. I brought my mini just in case but I probably won't do much skating. However, which skate shops should I check out? I hear Uprise is run by a bunch of dicks so I sorta want to check it out.

Since it's starting to get nice out and the sun stays up past 5. We should get some skating in this weekend, I'd be down to travel to some new hills if anyone's up for it.

If it was this Sunday I was out in the Galena area, we just got a new house out there and the hills are insane. But alright nice dude a Sunday session works for me, where did you guys end up skating?

LaGrange? Galena? That's hella far, especially from where I am.

Anyone here live in the actual city of Chicago? My roommates and I would be down to skate; I live by museum campus.

Oh I live in Crystal Lake so Chicago is only a 45 min train ride.I only go to Galena sometimes

Once it gets warm we go to chicago once a month or so,but join the group on facebook and you can find some guys that live downtown.

yeah i used to live in archer heights but now im in lagrange but im always up in the city

JONLUS1 I live in Elizabeth IL (14 miles from Galena)and build longboards just curious when youll be out this way again, i use the little one way hill at the closed scenic tower to try new shapes small hill but i get good feedback there. I also ride in the Palisades State Park in spring/fall season because the roads in there are closed that time of year . I would be down to poach some rural highway hills if your up for it sometime. Im on facebook under NRGboards, so you can get ahold of me thru there also.
