General Info: After skating the rand ramp last night, some of us decided to cruise around Minneapolis for a while. After about an hour of skating, we stumbled upon a ramp that was just amazing. It's 9 stories tall, plenty wide, has an elevator, no security late at night, and isn't too fast, or too slow. No matter what your skill level is, you'll have fun riding this ramp. If you have gloves, you'll probably want to bring them.

YESSSSS!!! glad you guys got around to hitting this ramp...i've driven past it several times and parked in the lot next door for the aquatennial fireworks, and i'd always wondered how it would be to board. i'm in for sure, can't wait!!!
and yeah, a MNLBC "next meet" thread would be great so's not to clutter up the forum
damn, wish i could go. looks like a sick ramp!! one of these weekends, I'll be going home (rochester), and will make an appearance at one of these meets!

Think i will be there Sunday, still not sure on Saturday. May get stuck out at the future in-laws house in the middle of farm country... you know there are no hills anywhere out that way too so thats why i say i have to go Sunday!
best part of the whole meet was at the first garage when about 5 of us were riding the elevator back up...we get in on two and it goes back down to one...doors open, and.....
there's the security guard with his bike!
we just stare in shock and the doors close, then open again and he says "are you guys...going up? are you going to ride those things down?" we're all like "uhhh...no no, we were just going back up to our car!" and he gets in, bike and all, and says "well i'm going up to the top" (where we were going) and someone says (brilliant) "wasn't the car on six?"
so we hop off on six, and flip out cause of what just happened! the other half of the group is currently up top and we can hear them begin to ride down so we wait and roll with them on the way down. tell 'em "dude, we just were in the elevator with the security guard!!!"
hahahahahaha priceless
there was also a drug bust or something right next to the ramp
great to see so many people out!! can't wait for the next one
